At Campbell’s freedom farm we are about growing not only emergency survival food but just food in general whether it’s passion fruit, hops, or edible flowers.
We also show how to landscape on a budget as well I was preparing healthy and fun recipes with children.
I feel ridiculous asking this so stick with me lol. I couldn’t tell where the crown was that you were showing. I assume it’s the typical area, but then I also noticed what appeared to be a root on it after you cut it. Soooo, help!! Is the crown in the regular place as most plants?? 😂😂
Your question totally makes sense. The crown is the base that sits on the where the roots start. So I pull/break/cut off here. I was lucky and actually pulled one of the roots(usually not so lucky) but that even helps more when rooting. But that base will sprout new roots while the section that was left behind will regrow. So it’s a double win. Hope this helps & I appreciate you watching Sabrina
It’s a rhizome & I get them from either the Asian or International grocery stores. I put a couple videos in the description. Thanks for watching Sabrina
@@Gardening-FarmtoTable-andMore Midwest Ohio There are fresh seeds on the tree right now for anyone that wants to collect them. The park is open to the public and the seeds are easy to see as you drive into the park. If able to come to the area, I can give you the park and city name.
@@Tylersimmons1995 yes, depending on your dehydrator the average temp is 115 degrees. Also if you put a fan on them and place them in a warm area this will also work. Thanks for watching Sabrina
@@Gardening-FarmtoTable-andMore awesome I just de husked a whole bucket of them. Added warning if they are still wet they will stain your hands 😂 guess I’m wearing this for a couple days 😂
Prior to sprouting just when you seed them, the pellets should keep them moist. Once sprouted water them from the bottom when the top is dry. Hope this helps Taylor
We have four pecan trees and the storms have wreaked havoc on them! We have more off the tree than on I have opened the green ones and our pecans are full how can I save them?
Great question and it depends how close to maturity. I actually looked up several plans of action and the most reasonable is to remove the shuck and keep them in a well vented area that is warm. It will take a week or more. I hope it works. I love the pecans and to waste them would be bad. These storms have been bad Sabrina
You tell me, it is an IPhone SE but I am hoping to upgrade before Christmas. I don’t want to sound stupid but on a no paying channel what is the next IPhone that I could get. I have a friend that has the newest phone and you can tell. Would appreciate any help Sabrina
