Hello Boys, Girls and all those in-between, my name is Lucy Michela and welcome to... My channel!
Yes, this channel has actually been on the go now for over 5 years, and I've enjoyed every step of the way. I came out as a Transgender female in 2017, and publicly in September 2019. This is why some of my videos are under my old name (and of course my now two old Channel names).
I'd love to try and support any LGBTQ+ peeps who are struggling, so drop me a message on my public Instagram (lucy.michela_photography) and I'll be willing to help you.
On this channel, you'll mostly see bus content, as well as trains and some vlogs. I do plan to return to gaming stuff soon as well.
Your maps look different to mine. Yours show greater road detail and include the actual railway lines on the map, where on my default maps these are missing. I’ve looked at the game settings and there is no option I can see to turn those on. How do you display that info please?
@@LucyMichela I meant you could acquire the ex wigan b7rle’s or darts wigan. Wigans b7’s being 21236-21248 (21248 (MX06 VOT) had a interesting life with first wigan then Stagecoach wigan and was wigans only MX06 b7rle. MX05 CKL ex first 66878 and Stagecoach 21237 was my personal favourite along with 66921 MX55 FGO ex Stagecoach wigan 21242
It's pretty standard for FirstGroup. They ordered the MF72s with plans to transfer them within 6 months, yet applied a whole new livery to them. They've been doing stupid stuff like this for a good few years now
The Temsa MD9 would probably be quite well suited to routes outside Cardiff ngl. Seems a better alternative to the Solos and MMCs that irl companies use in more rural Wales.
Can I ask a question or two? how do you design a logo for buses and is there a place/site where I can get some templates to design a colour scheme on and then apply?
Cardiff save wooooo, good to see you've used the Cardiff Bus depot as your depot location haha, makes it a llittle realistic. Although in the city centre has changed a lot since 2010 so the old bus station would've still been in use at this time. Btw you got the Cymreig pronunciation right but teithio is pronounced like 'tay-theo', and if you need more help with Cardiff pronunciations + local knowledge then let me know haha. The 6 used to run from the museum in fact but yeah only from Canal Street atm and yeah only some routes use the bus station atm (the 9x routes, 32, 24/5, 61/2/3 and Stagecoach 122/4 routes)
@@LucyMichela Yeah that's fair, let's just pretend that in this universe Cardiff Council are competent and don't take about 8 years to build a new bus station!
I actually going to cover the original Macclesfield save in my personal one because I have discovered that if I eventually get the map to around 40-45 map tiles after after an hour and half of expansion and my laptop becoming warmer and warmer with the fans at maximum power 😂 .
Lived in Knypersley near to the halt 1955 to 1971, and went to Knypersley First School 1957 to 1963 right next to the line and the sidings. Also travelled along the Potteries Loop line from Pitts Hill to Burslem,Cobridge,Hanley and Stoke on steam hauled train to London via Rugby in 1963. I remember the coal and sand trains hauled by fowler 4f steam locomotives and the final demolition trains, again steam hauled. I walked the entirety of the line in 1968 from Knypersley to Congleton Brunswick Wharf and then from Knypersley to .Milton and Birches Head where it joined the Stoke to Leek line. I repeated the exercise 30 years later in 1998 and wrote articles for the Biddulph Chronicle and the Evening Sentinel both local papers in the area. My dad worked at Chatterley Whitfield colliery 1955 to 1979. I also walked the Chatterley Whitfield colliery line from the colliery through Pitts Hill tunnel to Pinnox Sidings in Tunstall next to the site of the former Loop line viaduct, demolished in 1967. A large brickworks was nearby. The North Midlands is full of industrial and transport history! I also t
I reckon the X1 absolutely should be numbered as the A1 given that the main dual carriageway road it runs express on is actually the A1 at the Newcastle bypass
@@LucyMichela The HF's are done by bluestar in southampton. The Scania Omnicities in portsmouth were YN54 plates. They mainly operated routes 1/3 beetween commerical road and southsea and the 1 becomes the 3 at south parade pier towards fareham. And the x4/x5 beetween fareham and southampton
I’m going to start following your saves but with a twist to it starting with Macclesfield because I really enjoy city bus manager but also the game is going full release on the 25/06 so I need to get started on that. 😁
The first Guided Busway in the UK was actually in Birmingham! Encouraged by the systems in Essen & Adelaide, WMPTE initially proposed converting the Bristol Road routes, but it was decided that an experimental scheme was needed first, so a section of former tramway reservation on the 65 (then City-Short Heath, extended to Perry Common at deregulation) from Stockland Green-Short Heath was converted, with Metrobuses 2686 and especially built "Tracline" 8101-8114 being fitted with guiding wheels, the first double deckers in the world to be so eqquiped, the busway opening in 1984.. Opening in 1984, there was a tentative proposal to build another one in the Black Country along part of the 79 but politics intervined, with the financing West midlands County council getting abolished and deregulation being on it's way meant that the project was shelved. The busway came to it's end in September 1987, with 8101-8114 losing the guidewheels and becoming 2961-2974. The former 8114 is now preserved.
I dont think a lot in the UK aren't guided. I know Runcorns is but that one predates the first Guided one, given it was built in the 70s, and is basically just bus only roads really.
Yay my home town 😁 The 584 had been my local route for well... 20 years! 😂 Only since I moved to Wigan with my Boyfriend did I stop catching the 584! With the old TFGM tendering system, the 584 was an absolute mess of operators! Jim Stones Coaches (very much missed!) Ran the Monday to Saturday daytime service (most on a commercial basis), then the evening and sunday services were operated by various operators, the ones I can remember including; South Lancs Travel, Diamond NorthWest, Arriva North West, First Manchester, Stagecoach Manchester, Maytree Travel, Visionbus and Tyrers! There was also a school run on the 584 at one point which was also operated by a separate operator, meaning at one point this little local service had 4 separate operators on it 🤣 Also, I hate to be that person but Tyldesley is pronounced more like "Till-ds-ley" rather then "Tile-sley" 😅
**19th Like** This is some wonderful stuff. Hopefully, I can have an adventure over there. Question: payment wise, is it easy to use their transportation?
The 125R will be done, as will all routes. If any get withdrawn before I ride them, they wouldn't count anyway, but as that route is quite an interesting one, I'm gonna do it within the next 4 to 5 episodes
