I am a suicide survivor too. My ex choked me almost to death and then did it on train tracks down street from where I live. I’m 51. Happened 30 years ago. I wasn’t there but saw aftermath. It was horrific. I can’t believe anyone can blame Taylor. This sister is disgusting to shift blame on the real victim here. This happens more than most know. And women like me will never be the same, but will be judged til the end of our lives. It’s literally a daily struggle to deal with. I watched this show. I’m rewatching it now on Pluto. It’s awful to see the other cast members not believe her. Taylor is obviously acting out and a victim in this show. F Russell and John too. I had a bright future. I still do but it’s not freaking easy.

I believe her. Russell had a history of being abusive. There were police reports from his ex-girlfriend that he hit her and snapped her wrists when she tried to call 911. The mother of his oldest kid even required supervised visits after learning this, and said he beat her while she was pregnant. Now she tries to say he was never abusive 🙄 I believe Taylor. That broke my heart when she said she agreed to do the show because the cameras would maybe deter Russell’s abuse. I grew up in an abusive home and that really got to me when she said that. It’s so true; they put on a facade. I wish her and her daughter all the best. Russell’s sister seems like a nut job TBH. I didn’t like Savannah’s energy towards Taylor here… then again, Savannah seems to cozy up to abusers… look at her friendship with Matt Lauer.
People have no bloody manners. People are completely bereft of basic decency and respect for other human beings. These invasive camera-wielding stalkers and cyber criminals would never get away with it in places outside America, the UK as it’s just not culturally acceptable to be so disrespectful and intrusive
A Narcissist's family often enables their abuse. Sounds like she has her own problems with Meth that she needs to focus on. As a Narcissist Abuse survivor know her pain.
The reason I didn't see the movie, although I adore Clint Eastwood and Leonardo DiCaprio, is because I didn't want to see Leo looking old and fat. Simple as that.
The Las Vegas scene when he asked her to leave, him constantly calling her accomplishments and friends "little", him buying the puppy even tho he knew how she felt about it. Her body language around him, the fear in her eyes, her breakdown. I don't see how people still don't believe this woman, the abuse was so obvious. Whenever he came on screen I knew something was off with him.
as someone who has lived this, and narrowly escaped with my life- I believe her. entirely. Thank you for finding your voice, Taylor. I know it has saved lives.
His sister is naive to think he wasn't abusing Taylor! I've been in her shoe's where I hid my abuse and my abuser always hit me where you couldn't see the mark's! Taylor had every sign mentally of being abused! He took the chicken way out because Taylor's friend's stood up for her and it would effect his job! I actually just bought her book today even though I seen every episode that she was on.
She went through a lot while trying to be in front of the cameras and she tried to keep it together and when your public these people come out of the woodwork. So she did the best she could in the circumstances. Love you Taylor stay strong. I miss you on tv tho :)
Amazing how the reporter and the women say no marks so no DV.... get real it's just not all beatings... their is coercive control, the is verbal abuse and psychological abuse.... really Today you can do better....
Taylor says she misses him and loves him, yet he was such a horrible person? And she calls our his sister for being in meth rehab? That's not ok and suspicious.
It's pretty typical for bi polar and people who take medications for this type of disorders, to kill themselves in response the medication's mood swings, , from adjusting the doses being on and off and triggering events.
You can tell from the show she was genuinely trying to scream out for help and get real with the ladies abojt the abuse. And later on camera. Before it was decided for her. Heck.. even Camille said she felt Taylor sort of guided her into screaming it for the cameras. I think Taylor was seeking help through the cast and us, the viewers. Truly said… I watch back at the first couple of seasons with cringe. Remember when the camera showed Taylor and him walking into their house after leaving the party ?? Can’t help but wonder what he did to her afterwards. After the door shut . Alarming. Season 2 episode 16 Uninvited
She loved his money & decided that in order to live that lifestyle she’s have to endure it! Money or not…..I RAN! Can you see LVP putting up with that!? NOPE!
Geez. Why even think about canceling the show? It’s not the networks fault that he had obviously mental health problems. His sister is a total buffoon. I feel so bad for Taylor.
Its so sad how some ppl are set up from childhood to fail. How can you manifest a healthy relationship if you dont know what one looks like? I was taught from a small child to never let a man disrespect me and that lesson has probably saved my life. Not all girls learn this :(
I believe Taylor, I do not believe Erika one bit though, everything she says it's a lie. I think I can judge character very well. I loved the "meth" shade to Russell's sister. You can tell just by looking at that woman's face that she is a drug addict. I miss Taylor on the show. Taylor is a good woman, she is too good indeed, that she put up with an abusive relationship for so long. I hope she learned and won't let it happen again.
