this is actually insanely helpful. currently i have a mental block in high jump so i’ve been having a super tough time because my coach isn’t the best. i know i’m a better jumper than i’ve been doing but recently not so much. i would ALWAYS overthink my approach because i knew that it felt wrong. i’ve been doing it for five years and i officially started actually DOING it right. but because of that it’s been tough considering the fact i’m scared of the bar itself. it comes in phases and sometimes i’m scared to jump in general. i feel like for me at the end of the day, as soon as i’m consistent i’ll be fine. and literally just watching the drills play out helps a lot. you have to fail in order to succeed and you’ll never succeed if you don’t fail!
Right after trying numerous plans and none of them working, this vertical jump training has been my savior. Touching the rim was all I can do two weeks ago and I really felt ashamed about it. Now I could dunk and all my buddies are shocked at the quick transformation! It is not hard to find this jump guidebook by Google. It is Julian Jumρosen all the best
Is there any natonal Sports mens here ...what are the list of jumps can jump for high jump...is this is the only one jump is valid can't we jump like fish side jump .?
Hi Rick. These are really good drills that you've shared. I've included most of them in my high jump drills ebook. highjump.club/product/high-jump-drills-training-ebook/
I went from sitting on the bench and also scarcely being able to dunk - to averaging several dunks per game, becoming a beginner, and also winning the state championship after using this vertical jump training “takom fetching network (G0OGLE it)! I have tried several vertical jump programs but this one tops them all. .
Hey, It is possible to increase 2-4 inches in vertical jump within 2 weeks by following the appropriate training system & have a great nutrition plan. My friend acquired 9 inches in just 3 months and today he can 360 dunk with two hands.
It is not very hard to gain 10-25 in . vertical jump within 2 months if you have accurate nutrition plan and right workouts You'll find out more here: bit.ly/1nbIkwK
Good video but I don't see any reason to cover the box or do oT drills on the pit... You can just use short two left jumps and straight pole to invert.
Me too Andrew Lee.. I was a bit skeptical on buying that e-book cause there are a lot of fraud sites in the net. But I took a risk on buying that and after 2weeks of training under its program, it was the most comprehensive vertical jump program Ive tried! Anyway, you forgot to mention its site.. Its *www*JumpHigher*info* _put dots in place of the asterisks, yt filters auto-spams it_ =))
I've read some of the posts. I think that this is a excellent video. My brother just would like to become powerful with the ladies. He came to understand a lot from a web-site called Master Attraction. (Google it.) The help and advice for seducing women in nightclubs in the emails via that site got got him his very first sex in 3 years. I'm irritated though coz I heard them all. Grrrr.
I vaulted 13'1" in HS in 1970. Oh if only I had these invert techniques to practice. Tried to figure it out on my own. but had no vault coach or fellow competitor on the team to help. I thought about it from time to time over the years. As funny as it seems I'm retired now; 60 years old, not in bad shape and am thinking of trying it again. It's my life and they can't talk me out of it. Thanks for the video. Doing the exercises carefully and slowly as possible at least I'll be getting in...
I like your information and would like to know how you determine what size of circle to use, as well as how you determine the lengths of segments A and B? I coach anywhere from 6-12 highjumpers girls and boys and have never found difinitive information for forming a consistent curve. Drawing that many curves could get confusing :). What determines the # of steps used 10 vs 9 etc? Would love some help!
It's a tough thing because you have two sides, different radius, different takeoff distances and different approach angles. I ended up putting two curves down for my high-schoolers on each side. I limited the approach angle to 30 degrees for everyone. Radius of the curve should allow 5 steps on the curve and I found that 17-20 feet was not enough because I use a 30-degree approach angle, the radius of the curve has to be bigger to accommodate 5 steps. I start beginners out at 6 steps, move it to 8 after the first meet, then to 10 when boys start looking like they can do 6' or girls if they start looking like they can do 5'2". But, always 5 steps on the curve. My two lines are a 24' radius with a jump point that is 42" away. I also do a 22-foot radius coming into a jump point that is 36" away. I use autocad to draw the curves and to tell me how to spot the center point.
