Welcome to the Hardrock Construction channel on this channel you will see a lot of my day to day life on the job site and also at home on our farm. On the construction side you will see all aspects of road construction, drainage work, concrete, and even some underground utility work. On the farming side of it, you will see us raising beef cattle, tending to all of our animals and baling hay. Hope you enjoy my channel, be sure and subscribe, leave me a comment, or give me a thumbs up. Thanks
I don’t know what it is about those Komatsu motors but they all sound like they have a bunch of midgets inside the block beating with ball peen hammers trying to get out.
I hate the small cat dozers what used to be the k series. The inside of the cats are very uncomfortable. I don’t like the way the controls are set up. Can’t seem to get the set and the controls to fit me. As far as small dozers go I would take a John deer , Komatsu or case over the cat hands down.
With about 20k hrs under my belt 95% of that time on d6 and JD850j our Land man bought a new kd37n for me last year i put about 300hrs on it now and they only benefit I can tell to the Komatsu is the visibility is great, but it's ruff and rattles and squeaks like hell. My last 850j had 9987hrs on it and it was 10 times quieter than my new Komatsu.
Just what you said about. The location of the 2 dealers is enough for me to go with a cat. I believe they're both good machines and they're both gonna break. So who's gonna support you the best when it's broken? That's the choice you make.
I love how a bunch of grown ass men can get on here and say the polar opposite of each other about the same damn tractor. Buy the CAT, invest in the quality, resale value, service, dealer partner. Komatsu makes cheap crap and if you need to see the blade better than operators have since the beginning of time you need to go back to being a laborer.
I do not notice any difference in the view. I did not get it aligned right after. I put new front tires on it about 5000 miles after the lift and then had it aligned. In those miles I could not tell it wore the tires or drove different.
Imagine a dozer with a winch hitch thingy. The extra weight man would just be perfect for it to bite and grip. Well actually they already have that it's called the tractor with the rubber tracks for a road. Big CASE farm equipment.
Hey man, i bought a 4th gen with the 2inch already installed. Its trashing my front end and im going to take it out. My question is was there some kind of spacer rubber puck that came in the truck originally that you discard when installing the new leveling puck. Just trying to get everything in order before i take it out and return to stock.. Thanks!!
HEY I THOUGHT I WOULD COMMENT ON YOUR VIDEO SINCE I HAVE AN OLDER 5075E OPEN STATION AND MFWD TRACTOR. I ALSO BOUGHT MINE USED FROM THE LOCAL JD DEALER. SO MY TRACTOR WAS A 2014 MODEL ADVERTISED ON THE TRACTOR HOUSE WEBSITE. I THINK IT WAS AN ABUSED CHILD SEEING THAT IT MUST HAVE BEEN A TURKEY OR CHICKEN HOUSE LOADER THAT NEVER SEEN THE INSIDE OF A SHELTER OR A PRESSURE WASHER OR ANY GREASE LUBRICATION WHAT SO EVER. TURNS OUT THE ENGINE IS GOOD BUT IT HAD A LOCKED UP FRONT END PIVOT AND BRAKES THAT WERE STUCK SEMI LOCKED UP. THE CLUTCH WAS ALSO PRETTY MUCH SPENT. ALL THESE ITEM I FIXED MYSELF WITH MY SONS HELP SINCE HE WOULD BE USING THE TRACTOR FOR HIS PROJECTS AS WELL. I LIKE YOUR BUILDING! SEEMS TO HAVE GREAT UPPER AND SQ FOOT SPACE. I PLAN TO DO SOMETHING SIMILAR. YOUR VIDEO MAY BE OLD FOR ONLY 2 VIEWS SINCE 2021 BUT MINE DON'T GET MANY VIEWS EITHER. GOD BLESS GOOD BUDY! 2014
Is your pickup a cab chassis model I literally cannot find a kit that says will fit or designed for 4wd ram 3500 cab chassis I have a dually flatbed same as yours
It’s been great. At first the earthworks was a little intimidating but it didn’t take long to figure it out and we like it even more than our other Trimble.
I have case 750m right now, I got a really good deal on it so I gave it a try. It's not bad but I demoed the d3 and I think that's what I'm going with now, just bought the new 420xe backhoe too, it'll be delivered soon, cat and jd are the only dealerships close to me. Case and Komatsu are 2 hrs plus away so service has been a pain. The cat salesman really earned my respect and business more than anyone else too.
Where is this at?. You need to get some of that fresh dug out material and gold pan some of it.. from my experience it looks really good..it's worth a look even if your not in a gold bearing area..dang you really need to test some of that..
