when I first saw this movie I thought it was going to be trash but it turned out to be very inspiring. The ending is a bit of a stretcccccccch but given the overall theme of the movie it's acceptable. Kevin James Henry Winkler have fantastic chemistry Bas Rutton is surprisingly good and relaxed in his role also
To be fair he DID do that lift 3 times in a row before shooting with wires and stuff just to prove to everyone he could so they couldn't say "Nah you only did it because of the wires". Dude is actually a tank.
Agreed, I was surprised with how good this movie was. Before I watched any of the previews and trailers, I expected to be as shit as Mall Cop or something, but it was better than expected.
A great, and heart warming, movie that is seriously underrated. No matter what else Kevin James ever does I'll be a fan because of this movie and that scene In particular. Thanks for posting this.
Based on a true story too, the real Scott Voss had a cameo as the dude wearing the headset and holding the clipboard in the first fight with the chickens running around.
this is a beautiful scene! you stand even though you know you will be knocked down because others may be watching and seeing you stand might give them the courage to do the same.
