Can the pops hurt the turbo down the line in anyway? Even if it’s happening g externally is there any pressure to worry abt throughout the exhaust system. Looks sick I might try on my stage 1 fa20
Thank you for creating this video. I discovered a fair amount of moist crud under the screw area, too. I'm guessing this also contributed to the error. Thanks for your info and clear explanation
Hello, how are you, your video was the best and most explanatory I found. I'm from Brazil and here I have an Aspirated Impreza 2.0 ej20. Can you tell me if the process is the same? Find the positive where it is already joined with the 4 coils and cut it to make the connection? Thank you

If you have a stock cat, I'm not sure how much effect you are going to get out of it. The company recomends that an aftermarket, high flow cat be used if you have to have one. I dont have cats in my car and I also do not have mufflers. The only part of my exhaust that is stock is the mid pipe with the resonator.
@@BionicLabs My car is a Lancer 2.0 CVT. I don't want to remove the cat. But I upgraded my exhaust system... removed some mufflers, etc. I just wanted to know If the "cat delete" is necessary for get the flames.
@noletovictor the company, says that it's not mandatory. However, the results may not be as big as mine. I've seen videos where people have done it and they had stock cats.
I dont think the WRX is different than the STi when it comes to there ignition system. It still has individual coil packs. So you will need to go through the same steps that I had to go through to find that 12v constant power wire that goes to the coil packs.
@@2ManyBucketz You're not lloking for a wire under the fuse box because we don't have a distributer for our spark plugs. We have individual coil packs. So you will need to find the 12v constant wire that feeds 12v to the coil packs. take a volt meater and attach one end to the wire that is supplying 12v to a coil pack. In the engine harness you are going to find that same wire and test for continuity. Once you find contenuity, that is the wire you need to interupt. To further test, start the car, and if you cut that wire, the car should stall out imediatly.
Worked like you said! Saved me $80 over a new dirty tank. Thank you! Thank you! Ive had the unit since 2019 and it was well used. Now I can use it even longer.
This was a good explanation of why the error was happening. And a good fix. One side note is that you need to be vigilant on emptying out used water. If you dont it will go into the motor
Thank you so much for this video. This is the 2nd time it happens to me. This is my 2nd replacement of the tank and everything else. I opened it as you said, my machine had Abt 2-3 tbsp of dirty water in there. I dried it up, screwed everything back together (I WS afraid of cutting wires) full tank light came on. Took it apart again, dried it up then put the hot glue where you said but didn't remove the metal posts. Screwed back together and VOILA....IT WORKED! NO MORE FULL TANK LIGHT. I didn't cut wires because someone else here did and still didn't work, then another person said you have to watch the tank to not overfill and lastly because I would've done it if you had actually demonstrated that it worked. But I do thank you for the video it definitely helped 👍🏻👏🏻
I'm glad I was able to help. That error pissed me off to no end. Especially having to go through the pain of requesting replacement parts, only for the error to return.
Its kind of random. What i did was held the button down at the end and let off the gas. I think i may have pushed it back down again. I tried to get it to do it again but it was not all the time.
@@BionicLabs like a video of both your button/gas technique and the rear of the car to show the results of what you’re doing as the driver. Side by side videos, you’d need 2 cameras, capturing both gas/button & flames in a synchronous time
I appreciate the description of how it works! I've pulled the metal out and have put silicone the where the metal entered. My theory is keep all moisture from going up into the wire area. Silicone has to cure for a day before I can test it though.
