Good video, great equipment. Sonicake are tremendous. I recently got the Acoustic Factory Pedal for less than £30 ( 30 English pounds) and it is an awesome piece of kit folks. Their stuff is well worth checking out. Happy playing people 🎶.
To Sonicake - make a new model with at least the power plug in the end not the side. The guitar cable jacks can be moved to the end as well. Also the LEDs need to be moved so they can be seen from above, not under the pedal. Please add wah/volume control instead of volume boost. Add a wah extra range pot and knob. And for good measure make it an optical pot, like beringer wah.
Only thing I wish this would’ve had was a tuner on it. And it would’ve blown my mind !! Especially as a church musician. It’s a great little set up. Really cool.
Yes, DO NOT EVER use a 12v power supply with a 9v pedal... You have probably already fried your pedal if trying to use it with a 12v power supply.. sorry for the bad news, but you should always follow the manuals power instructions.
Sonicake are you able to connect this to an android device with a cable for a decent video recording, with our without an additional device? I know some of these types do it with iphone...
Did some research on the 9v battery and, as the device draws 120 mah according to their website, that should get somewhere around 4-5 hours from an alkaline or 10 from a lithium. Thinking I might make an adaptor for mine soon... Not really that big a deal is I figure I'll need power for the amp anyway.
2 weeks back I bought a tank G by M vave for $80 shipped. It is similar to this unit. Surprisingly it turned out to be much better than I thought it Would be!😱 Keep in mind I'm only using it for at home practice with headphones But for 80 hours it was well worth it.
What is the polarity requirement of this pedal? Center positive or negative? Does this have any specific ampere range of operating? Is 500-600 mA fine for this?
I own both the Sonic Wood and Sonic Boom, they're great pedals for the price, I just wish they all came with an FX Loop, currently only the boom has a built in FX loop. Maybe they'll upgrade the design in the future.
It depends on the sound option settings on your computer, if the mixer is selected, it will go directly to the Phones and Main Output of the Audio Mixer; if computer speakers are selected, it will go to the speakers connected to the computer.
