I'm an Australian now living in Salinas, Ecuador. Wanna see videos about Ecuador that aren't just shots of touristy places? Want see what it's like to actually live here without clickbaity titles? I'm just a normal guy who decided to try a different life and I make videos because I enjoy being creative. If you are interested in seeing something other than the town square or the church, maybe you'll enjoy my videos. Cheers for watching!
I loved Quito. I'll post a long form video about it soon. I thought the temperature was nice so I was also always wearing shorts too :) The historical center is truly amazing. I will be back for sure. Have you been?
@@Alvey_en_Ecuador No, I haven't. Macas is the only part of Ecuador I've been to (plus the 6-hour drive to get there). Hopefully one day I'll be able to travel more .
This is in the historical downtown, just behind all the famous buildings. There are blocks and blocks of beautiful, interesting streets like this where residents live their lives and run their businesses oblivious to the throngs of tourists a few streets away...
@@Alvey_en_Ecuador i was one of those Tourons back in January. The very helpful young lady at the offical tourist office gave me a map and drew a line saying "Don't go beyond this street" 😬🤣
@@Alvey_en_Ecuador i would say of the 30 days, 25 were very pleasurable. The five days rain all day made it less so. I saw quito, otavalo, banos, cuenca, loja (rain city), vilcabamba, mindo, quilotoa, secret garden cotopaxi and back to Mindo (all by bus). It was a solid trip.
Oh Alvey, - so this is the most dangerous city in the world... I see!! I wonder if the people who claim so, were ever on the continent ruled/dictated by the old Colonials 🤔 Have a good Sunday in the southern hemisphere 🌎
These days I'm still recovering from some heart problems so I'm doing 10 to 20 miles per day when i can. Not everyday, but almost. Thanks for watching. I'm happy you enjoyed it.
Good to hear you sound OK and, almost back and, fit for fight 😊 The ocean is always a perfect place and, where you are filming here, is stunning!! Thank you so much for sharing and, please keep improving🌹🌹🌹
Thanks a lot for sharing! I'm not sure why (maybe I'm more than sure) but, for some reason I keep thinking of a question one of the self promoted western "elites" resently asked - quote:"How comes, Africa stay poor?" I could ask a similar but,, backward question about some of the self promoted western "elites" but, for some reason, I no longer bother attempting trying to communicate with these pedophile, stinking Westerners, who in reality, are lower than nothing.. The Nordic"elite" I left 25 years ago, are by now, so stinking * disgusting, one no longer have any problems, finding the stench of their "Rob, rape, torture, kill" mindset/mentally, the absolute only thing to avoid the stench (100% equal to the stench of death in Hitler's death camps) - simply turn around fast and, hurry in the opposite direction or, be slowed by the stench of death.. This place dear Alvey, is a wonderful human place and, the Ecuadorian people are lovely... I can't wait till I can leave the northern European odor....leaving the old continent whose "leaders" clearly - not surprisingly, know exactly nothing but, how to rob, rape, torture and kill, I'll always chose the Liberdad area.. for her people and, for the humanity there.. Finally yes... Why is Africa still poor... and, from where does the European stench of death keep coming from... Please South America, stay as you are... Love you ❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️
@@Alvey_en_Ecuador😊 an Ecuadorian I spoke with a while ago, said to me, when I complained about our constant '4 seasons a day' in Ireland - "don't worry, in Ecuador, we have 4 climates a day". There is something everywhere, right 🤔 Thanks again for sharing 🌹
Upon further review... I think it might be the necklace that's giving of the coke vibes. I don't do coke, but if I did, I'd get me a fancy necklace like that to store it in.
Interesting story. Speaking of Tuck-Tucks, do they have Bajaj Qutes there in Ecuador? If you don't know, they are one cylinder cars made in India that go up to 70 km/h. They are sold in some Central and South American countries.
😊 Funny, this town is not.complety different from another little sea-town somewhere in Africa. One could believe there's a connection.. Thanks a lot for sharing... 🤗🌹
