@@giannabarret9262 heyy! Long time! I like both… maybe the PK is just a bit more smooth. PS: just got a Tugboat deck and put the Doozies on them… take a look: www.reddit.com/r/LandyachtzBoards/s/mcIxDdtOaw
I just got my first cruiser but I’m so nervous to go outside with it as an adult and try and get better at it. I’d like to get to a place where I can just cruise around like you but it makes me super nervous thinking about interactions with cars and other people. This video somehow makes me feel a tiny bit better tho I suppose
I’m happy my video has encouraged you somehow and congrats for choosing a cruiser board to skating around. I”d suggest you learning how to push and to stop (see some videos here on YT). Choose a flat place, like a park or a quiet street, to practice… take your time and enjoy your cruising.
Hey Steve, if you use the trucks more loose is better to go for 1/2” risers. I’m using 1/2 risers in my Blunt, but I had a Shape 9 and a Classic Dinghy where I used PK with stock risers (1/4”) with no wheel bite. I used the trucks a bit tighten, tough. You can do a test with 1/4 risers first. Hope it helps.
All of them do a great job (combined, of course, with the guitar whammy bar bending). The biggest difference between them you should have in mind is that Polara cuts the guitar dry signal completely.
@@marceloBAdARI curious to know how the Mooer R7 compares, a cheaper option to the exh which i am.consodering. I need a portable replacement to my SPX90. Still surpised there is no decent clone of the spx90 'reverse/gate' swoon sound
Hola Marcelo 🙋🏾♂️.
Ela tinha 3 single coils originalmente. É uma guitarra Tonante, made in Brazil, dos anos 70. Gosto muito dela. Saludos reverberantes!
Wow!!
Quedo atento a tu respuesta 😉🤙🏾
@@driveintothephrase Gracias! Sim, tive sorte mesmo… Ela tem um design e uma sonoridade que me agrada muito. E pela idade dela está muito bem conservada.
I just got a dinghy pinecone blunt and am running the Hawgs Supremes 70mm 78a wheels. That board can literally just plow through anything in its path. It's actually insane. Definitely my new favorite board.
70x68mm (Biggies) or 72x62mm (PK) are better for rougher roads… 63x53mm (Fatties) fits better visually for the blunt deck size… because of this I believe Doozies (63x64mm) are a great option, the best of both worlds, they are small and wide, and your cruiser will be not too heavy. PS: the spot in this video has a very nice and smooth asphalt, so Fatties go perfectly there
I love landyachtz too they have the best mini cruisers. If you get slightly wider king pins you can also get the 74mm PK GT(center set wheels need the 130 trucks probably) and that along with one or two of their soft risers make the best mini cruiser set ups ever if you ok with not being able to slide.
Thank you so much for this video. I'm not sure between this and the Holy Grail Max. I need them basically only for the reverse reverb mode. What do you think? Thanks in advance
Thanks for your comment. I’m glad the video was helpful. The EHX O11 and HG Max reverse reverb sounds are pretty much similar. You can check out on this video comparison I made: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DTW3dL6ERHY.htmlsi=GX1WllZJP4ugx_Uu HG is more minimalist and simple to operate, but a bit larger in size comparing to O11. In case you have another question just let me know.
Valeu! Adoro essa Tonante, chamo ela de TNT. Hoje ela tá com 2 captadores mini humbuckers ao invés dos 3 originais, como nesse vídeo. Obrigado pelo comment e vida longa ao lo-fi…
@@LF-un7nc in this video the setup is: Dinghy Blunt, 1/2” riser pads, 130mm trucks and Biggie Hawgs wheels. Cheers! PS: nowadays I’m using Plow Kings on this setup… the BH wheels I’m using on my Dinghy Shape 9
Always enjoying a good reverse reverb shootout !! I like every form of it. But the Polara is one of the best for me. Nice smooth rack like algorythm, clear sound with transparency for dirt, true bypass in case of difficult fuzzes after it,.... . They were really cheap some years ago . Lovely pedal.
Thanks for your comment and thoughts! Indeed, it’s a lovely reverb pedal. Unfortunately the price has rised after it’s been discontinued. @DigiTechFX should relaunch the Polara or Hardwire RV-7.
Thanks so much, Jeff! Stay tuned: soon I'll be uploading some other demos I did today. I'm glad you like that color scheme. The original pickguard was a muddy brown tortoise, so I decided to put on the blue adhesive (a contact paper) to get a better contrast with the white.
