Fake. SnarlingSalmon would eliminate the competition in a heartbeat, before you had chance to say boo to a goose, this is all just propaganda to silence a true Crossword legend from the community. Shameful, Mr Zimmer.
Came here because I was wondering why my daily USA Today puzzles are almost always more difficult when Agard is the editor. Now I know and I’m cool with that.
To me this is like a golfer putting, they need QUIET to concentrate...with these idiots commenting, it makes me wonder how the solvers tuned them out! This is a VERY big flaw in the competition and I'm sure that I'm not the first to observe this.
It was cute yet she was so annoyed afterward and went around saying she felt it was disrespectful. Aretha was not very open in interviews, she saved that for the show.
@@BenZimmer Oh good! I was thinking what on earth was going on, the guy came second but still was amazing, and it didnt seem like a racist type of gig lol
The best reaction was the guy who blurted out “holy shit” as Erik was taking his headphones off. I’d have to agree. I don’t think any final puzzle was solved that fast, ever.
@@DronMac not that it matters so much two years after your comment....but she was actually still smoking here..... If you ever seen the whole interview, the ash tray and a lit cig was actually in front of her... glad she stopped, but I did appreciate her singing voice during this era......
1, Who were the commentators ? Shouldn't they be mentioned too, for their wityy remarks ? 2. Since 'some' people win, all the time, year after year, shouldn't we 'retire' them , like we do the champion racehorses .... and put them out to stud ?
