@@kailiekay I’ve been doing skin tints and some serum foundations. The tinted sunscreens I’ve tried are too oily for me. I use the Saint Jane Beauty pore minimizing sunscreen and it doubles as a primer. It’s not greasy or heavy at all on my skin. I’m Im always looking for something new and lightweight That seint makeup just looks so cakey and heavy. Not on you, in general. I see them put so much on. It might look good under studio lighting but I bet it doesn’t look that good in person.
I’m not sure why MLM is so hated on. If you go to Ulta. That to is an MLM. They buy it for a certain price and sell to make a profit. Just like the women that sell makeup online
@@kailiekay No problem! Sometimes I can get away with it if silicones are further down on the list and I have dry skin but it lays the nicest on my skin imo if I avoid silicones in my skincare prep. I hope this helps you out. 😊
I actually have the Reduce water bottle and it doesn’t have that little gold thingy in the bottom maybe because I have the 50oz but now I have a Stanley
Holy crap, you just made something click that I have been struggling with for years... It is so very rarely see people, regardless of if they are a Pro MUA or just a hobby guru, apply bronzer correctly and where it actually looks natural. I understand they often overdue it for the camera but that doesn't make up for the wrong placement, not blending enough, the gap between their bronzer and hair line, it looking muddy or being the wrong color all together whether too warm or too cool, and so on. I am not very skilled with makeup, especially in technique so it had actually made me really afraid to use bronzer because I feared looking like them. Especially because the few other people I have seen that make it look good take a lot of time and effort that isn't practical for every day makeup or used skill that I just don't have. The way you just showed applying it totally makes sense and is practical even for every day and the average makeup wearer. I don't know how I haven't thought of something like it sooner, but I think the fact that the majority of people don't ever use two different bronzer shades at the same time was the missing piece. So thank you!! It makes me a little disappointed that you don't do videos anymore and I just discovered you while looking up reviews for these bronzers and blushes.
I am so happy to hear that, thank you! I haven't been doing this technique out of laziness lately and it definitely makes a noticeable difference! I need to narrow it down with creams and liquids since that's primarily what I use these days. I'm actually editing a video now and working on a bunch more to bring out weekly videos soon! I had my second baby last year and it's been a much bigger adjustment than I thought. I'm itching to get back into it though. I'm also trying to figure out how to play around with other videos as well as makeup, it's taking me some trial and error to figure things out. But I'm so excited to get back into it!
My family has several Reduce tumblers because they were on close-out for dirt cheap at Kroger and they look nice! Honestly, I'Ve found uses for each size we have. I have a taller handleless one that I use for some juices and things, nonfizzy. It's a great, car-friendly size! Then I have this little squat Reduce cup, great for pouring a can of soda in to make it last! We have the like 64-ish ounce clear plastic bottles from them too, which are nice for like overnight when you don't mind if water gets a little warm when you're half asleep. Both sizes of the metal Reduce tumblers we have seem to do a solid job keeping colds cold, haven't tried with ice or hot though. I think the taller one does a little better though. All that being said, my much younger sister wanted one because so many other kids her age have them, in school and on the bus. She got one for Valentine's Day and loves it! I couldn't help but love it too, so will.. mine's on it's way! I look forward to taking it to the beach this summer, and also filling it up with more than just one bottle of water when I'm really busy! Each tumbler has its place, but I'm glad I ordered my Stanley! I won't stop using my reduce, every cup has its place!
No problem! Like I said, 64-ish ounces. I could be slightly wrong on that, but it's huge to me regardless. It's plastic, so not going to keep water icy the way metal does, but very nice to drink out of. It has the nice silccon bottom ring on it, and a really nice straw that pops out with the push of the lid's button. The straw is also a wide-form rubber up top, so you can really get your gulp on if you need/want a lot of water quickly. I mostly use it as a bedside water bottle, which suits it well. No chance it'll fit in a cup houlder, I don't even think it'd fit in the truck or SUV, but I don't think it'd leak if tossed in a bag or something.
@@kailiekayI'm sorry, I stand corrected. I just looked it up on Reduce's website, and the only one that looks like mine is a 50-ounce. Either way, it's huge to me, haha! Mine is the mild mint variant. We have two more, one pink and the other I forgot. For plastic water bottles, they're quite nice!
@@kailiekay 👍👍 Great cup! Can't wait for my Stanley though. My sister was so cute, doing that fifth-grade boasting thing where she's so proud she got the 40 ounce, while her friend has the 30 ounce. She's a lot younger than me, the fad when I was a kid was ... beanie babies. She's biologically my niece, long story, but blood only tells one story, and she's my little sis regardless. Unnecessary details but yeah, amazing how especially post-COVID this stuff has all just taken off even in kids her age. She's not even got a smart device/social, she just saw several kids with one and was like "I want a Stanley".
First of all your using the big fluffy brush dipping into to colors , iv watched seint lady makeup tutorials and use a smaller brush so your using the wrong size dipping into compact . Use the fluffy one for blending
Was planning on doing my own make up on my wedding day so when you said that it sold me lol Have been eyeing this for a while. Do you think it would look good with medium brown eyes and neutral skin tone?
Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Yes! I've used both pallets on a wide variety of skin tones and they work really well! Let me know how it turns out!
@@kailiekay I don't sell seint. I don't wear make up often. BUT I did end up getting it and then went overboard and bought soooo many of the colors and stuff to play with. Sometimes I love it sometimes I don't like it. But I've watched a lot of videos and it is definitely hit and miss. I've seen Frenchie used for color correction under eyes. Aspen contour for redness. There's a. Highlight called sunlit that's really yellow that cancels out something. I can't remember what though The contour Aspen used
@@paige5191 I agree! I love how it initially looks but most of the time it doesn't last on me all day, like it just disappears and my face is all red again? But every once in a while when conditions are perfect, it does! So it's more of my short wear makeup. I do love their blush colors though! That sounds interesting.
I found it slid off my face too! Like, lean against a pillow? Gone. Pull on a sweatshirt? Gone. Hug my husband? All over his shirt. Even with powder and setting spray. In winter of all times too 😂
Oh no! Even the contour? I find that one to stick a little better, maybe because it's on the outside of my face more. But that highlight definitely isn't bulletproof for me either!
@@kailiekay Yep! I was excited about the formula and enjoyed it as concealer. But since I got it as a collection, they all had to be returned together.
@@learn-with-uss oh I'm glad you were at least able to return them! I'm so torn on whether or not I'll repurchase the contour once it's out. I don't use it everyday because I have quicker products but I do love the tone. But I think ultimately I'll use it as a reason to start looking for color dupes of other products to recommend. I'm finding I like stick products most!
I just measured my curling iron and it's the 1 1/4 inch one! I have a different iron that's 1 inch and rarely use it because it gives me Shirley Temple curls. I've used the one and one quarter inch barrel when I had short hair as well and loved it! I think it's a very universal size. You can curl in smaller sections and hold a little longer for a tighter wave or have them be loose waves on a lower setting with bigger sections.
I love the demis color correctors. It is very pigmented so I only used them for that. Still using my Lancôme Tint Idole glow serum as foundation. And go in to correct color w the Demis.
I want to extend a thank you for this video. I have never been able to successfully curl my hair until now. I have the confidence now to continue to practice ❤❤
Omg I bought this curling iron bc my hair stylist uses it on me and my daughter but I can never use it right no matter goes close I watch her lol thank you for the explanation .. love it!
You are so beautiful. This makeup look, the cooira, are definitely beautiful on your lovely skin. I am 50 and just ordered the emdium pallette. Its been 2 weeks and still not arrived. Im already turned off because they said 5 days.
I feel like I'm in the minority here, but I'm having mixed, unhappy feelings on my Stanley and just fell in love with the Reduce. Hear me out. My husband got me a Stanley for my birthday, and it's beautiful. He even shelled out and paid a lot extra for the hard to get, limited edition color I wanted (Wisteria). It's pretty and does its job with keeping the water cold. However...I have two issues. One, the lid. I am finding that I hate having the straw on one side of the lid. I didn't realize that was even an issue since most other tumblers have the straw centered, but wow, it drives me up the wall. The next thing is the weight. The Stanley is SOOO heavy when filled. I'm at a desk a large part of the day, so my cup tends to sit to one side of me. I've only had the cup a few weeks and I am experiencing a constant straining feeling in my pinky and ring fingers all the way down to my knuckles, even when not using the cup. It's crazy and it's 100% from the weight of the cup and where my fingers naturally grip the handle. What to do? Well, based on this video, I went to Target and picked up a Reduce (same Glacier color too b/c I thought it was sooo pretty!) on sale for only $22. It's like night and day. Pretty color, keeps the water cold, cheaper, the lid is so much easier to put and take off, the straw is centered, and it's lighter enough that my fingers aren't straining when holding it. Oh, and they did away with the brass bottom and it's now an improved silicon, skid-proof bottom. I feel so awful that my husband paid so much for the Stanley, but wow, I like the Reduce so much better. I'll still use the Stanley, but I think it will now just be a weekend/in the car cup only.
@@katiemc66 omg you're right! Just looked them up on Amazon, the forest green is calling me! May need to put it on my Christmas list. 🤤 The only thing that would make it better is a leak proof lid to throw in a bag.
It's their setting spray that you would use after applying the make up. You can also use it before applying makeup to help it stay better. Whether it's due to oily skin or heat and humidity. It's great both ways!
@@kristieverboom3679 oh yeah! That's a fairly popular trick in the MUA world, but I haven't heard too many people talk about it otherwise. Great tip! I'll have to check it out.
Not usually for this comparison because I don't with my other daily foundations. Oftentimes I do for my eyelids though because they crease with anything!
I keep trying it, but really now only use the Demi color correctors. I get a much better look with my various foundations I use for each season. . Not really sold on it
I've been enjoying it if I use a light hand during the cooler months. But I don't know that I'd repurchase quite yet! I need to try demi for my under eyes!
That can be a bit tricky! Look for a neutral undertone for the "bronzer" and go about 3 shades darker. Sometimes tan shades can pull super orange so a neutral or cool tone helps. The color or description usually tells you. 🙂
As a RU-vidr with only a thousand or so followers your opinion means nothing This makeup is for mature women you are clearly a baby and can’t understand the concept
