I recorded this on a psp go running component out to an OSSC and then to a startech usbhd3 capture card which sends the gameplay to my pc.

@@Luuckkaz I use analog stick in this game but my father always used d-pad (He was really good at gt2). I do use D-pad for ridge racer though because it allows for very specific inputs.

It's hard to believe this is a psp game honestly. While this is recorded off a psp go running through an OSSC it still looks amazing on the psp itself too. We may never see games made like this ever again. Pure class.

I've heard rr3d has some pretty wild glitches

I don't look at the map at all. Only look at the speedometer, nitrous, and track/car itself.

its a trick called 2nd gear start. We start in high gear on a 2 speed and before "go" downshift into low, and frame perfectly shift back to high while hitting gas. This tricks the game into thinking you started in high gear (300kmh+).

I actually have the ingame music off and just overlayed this song. There is a remix version of paris that plays for this track though, I just wanted to switch it up a bit 😎

There is quite a few ways to drift but I usually brake drift. The game also is focused around high speed drifting as it builds more nitrous. Extremely fun stuff 😎

@redrockshooter1293 It is an arcade title which uses a physics engine that allows drifting like on rails at unbelievable speeds. It is not meant to be realistic - it is just a game for those who want fun more than realism.

I would say so too. This is just a pb after 4 years but shows the jump corner straight strat. Still tons of mistakes in this run and improper routing

It was added to the ps4 and 5 through backwards compatibilty. I have other videos that are played on a psp and pstv though

@@bobbykaze It's nice having people document features of this game. Future AiAi is EXTREMELY good for speedruns since he starts with all chants except the teleport ones. I wonder why no one figured this out previously. I first unlocked him by playing the game normally. I had fun with the game (I completed story mode half a dozen times) but I have to say this game is a mess. I had Ale'wat not spawn, ruining a GonGon run. If you put the PSP to sleep, the game will hang when you attempt to load a map. The Tongue Twister puzzle map ran at like 15 FPS on my PSP 3000. 4 of the 64 Monkey Trumps are allegedly unobtainable but I swear I've had them unlocked on my lost PSP. The bottom portion of the starting platform in Gankanny has no collision. The center elevator in Fat Cat's control room disappears after you activate all buttons during the mission, creating a falling hazard. You can glitch out the starting map in Monkitropolis using a mixture of scalarball and the noise blasters, soft-locking yourself. Stickyball sometimes decides to stop working mid climb. The spawn point for traversing maps put you beyond locked puzzle gates, allowing you to bypass them (doesn't work in PS2). If you use hoverball in the platform below the flying automaton in Moonhaven, you can trigger a lodaing screen and get placed at the same spawn point when entering the cannon area with Paipai Store. Hoverball doesn't work on the water in the Moonhaven reservoir but works everywhere else. Makes me want to make videos on this game.
