I just loved that last line "Cornelia?!!" Response "No, AMELIA, Cornelia's sis-TUH" (turns and faces camera with a satisfied smirk) (Ethel nearly has a conniption fit) LOL!

These actors were truly super talented. It is very hard to find real actors like this anymore nowadays. What a wonderful era. Sadly, I just missed it.

I'm not surprised the show bombed when you consider how odd the lyrics are to this song. The tune is okay, but the lyrics are almost nonsensical at times, so probably hard for the audience to form any attachment to the song.

I've never seen the second and third ones! Thank you so much! I'm so glad we all wised up and realized this is part of our cultural history and needs to be preserved. ❤️ PS: never saw the last one either but I can understand why Lucy hated it!!

this is proof that lack of variety especially back in the mid 20th century led to an abundance o untalentend comedy acts. Has anyone actually watched the British Morecambe and Wise, absolute garbage.

My stomach is in severe pain from laughing so hard! This was BRILLIANTLY done! Just the right amount of twisted blended perfectly with camp! I cannot wait to show this to everybody I know! WELL DONE! MORE! MORE!

Thanks! This was fun to do. And not easy! No one, to date has picked up on my "Dead Ringer" cross-over references. Jane buys "Edie's Place" from the seller "Margaret" DeLorca. (Twin sister/murderer Edie in "disguise'). Why would a company name their dogfood "Iliad"? But I thank them because it gave me the "silly ad" rhyme. I love couch-potato BD's line "All we ever see is that fat sister SLOUCHING around." Jane may be a lot of things but FAT? If youtube says it was uploaded 5 years ago, I'll take their word for it, but it doesn't seem that long ago.

@@neilwilburn6848 OH! I got them! I love Dead Ringer! All the Maggie DeLorca blends were brilliant! Every friend I have shown this to has had tears in their eyes from laughing so hard! This has been such a riot! You know you MUST do more! I only wish Joan and Bette could see it, although I wonder how they'd personally feel about how it's considered high camp these days. LMAO

I didn't know Ethel could swing. She sang off that syncopated rhythm like a Frank Sinatra pro. Uptempo and double time. She had to force herself not to dance. Watch her body language. That was awsome.😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅

What an endearing woman, landmark talent, and sad exemplar of how fame exploits, damages and debilitates its most talented. How sad that she wasn't able to live longer, to share her wit, her insights, her musical talent for future generations (who so often lack depth, talent, experience, and individual genius).

They don’t play the Lucy episodes because they weren’t funny. Most people these days don’t even know who these people were and don’t even care.
