Our planet is under increasing distress. We must use our knowledge to act now.
The emergence of the Julie Ann Wrigley Global Futures Laboratory™ at Arizona State University is rooted in the conviction that we can and must make a meaningful contribution to ensuring a habitable planet and a future in which well-being is attainable for all humankind.
Dan is a sage - over the years, human activity has led to an increasing array of exotic chemicals that enter the environment and then translate into exposure pathways for humans and ecosystems through water. As Dan says, the time has come to rethink clearly what safety means, how to update the regulations and most importantly ensure that water is safe for all. Kudos, Dan for hitting this out. The challenge is on for the rest of us to make this happen. Thanks Dan for your contribution to the Global Water Collaboratory. The GFL Comms team is apparently overwhelmed with getting the over 100 submissions we got onto a youtube channel - I am told May 1 is the anticipated launch date. Fingers crossed - at least we are creating anticipation
So wasting our government tax dollars on paying farmers to destroy their own farms and not produce food. So I want to know the names of the idiots that signed this farm bill in 1985.
I agree no farmers = no food. Many of these environmentalists don't understand the concept of good stewardship. Yes. The current mega farming system using GMO foods, chemicals and pesticides, herbicides is toxic and not sustainable. It has to be phased out, slowly so the natural farmers can bring it all back. The government shouldn't be artificial incentivizing anything. Ethanol as one example. This goes for any industry or issue. Take back all the land stolen by the government and Bill Gates. What he has done should made everyone very concerned.
Thanks for posting! The military produces far more pollution than cow farts. Also, any kind of rocket, not just military, but also the good kind that send satellites and people into space. Edit: Further the animal producing the most methane is the termite. That genius Bill Gates might want to think about that before he cuts down all the trees and buries them.
Hello Julie Ann Wrigley Global Futures Laboratory™ ASU. Great content you got there. I think all this channel needs is a little push to get things moving. I can help with that. My info is on this very channel I'm using to comment.
