Lovely, of course. Seemingly every tutti passage rendered with complete unanimity, and brilliant solo playing... Still, a few negative nitpicks.~ First, there is a small but disturbing lag between the video and audio such that when the solo violin arrives on the downbeat in the audible music, she still appears visually to be on the previous upbeat. Very disconcerting...^^ 2nd, to be honest, i prefer the more aggressive tutti in the 1st movt. in a different version here on YT as rendered by Gidons Kremers and Heinz Holliger. A matter of personal taste, that. 3rd, other small visual gripes---> Where are the two recorder soloists (clearly visible in the Berlin P.O. Digital Concert Hall presentation of just the finale)? Are those recorder parts ad libitum? Where are the two tutti oboes (again, quite visible in the BPO video)? And audience members in one of the presumably important halls on the world concert circuit---> Why would you want to suck by clapping between movements?^^
Because they promote protestans (Sebastian) . . . they don´t promote Christan Bach because he was CATHOLIC. Christian Bach was very much superior dan his father Sebastian . . . absolutely no doubt for it.

Splendido concerto di LEONARDO LEO eseguito magistralmente. Il primo movimento è, per me, un riferimento per mostrare l'efficacia in musica dell'alternarsi di tensione e rilassamento. Il secondo movimento scorre veloce come acqua in un ruscello. L'acqua che scorreva veloce nel secondo movimento nel terzo si raccoglie in un ampio lago dove lievi folate di vento increspano la superficie e correnti vigorose scorrono in profondità. Nel quarto movimento stormi di uccelli si levano in volo con guizzi rapidi ed imprevedibili. Nel quinto le acque defluiscono dal un vigoroso emissario del lavo e vanno con gioia e determinazione verso il mare.
A vibrant timbre but I would have liked to hear more subtleties of interpretation to lift the rendition from a tendancy towards the mundane. Also i didnt detect the presence of tiny crescendo which would have served well given the repetitive nature of this gorgeous song. However, what really put me off this singer was his 'generous' body movements; most irritating; more a circus clown than music interpreter.
Безобразное исполнения пианиста. Игра на скорость? Кто быстрее отыграет партию ф- но или оркестр, да и по домам. 😢 Лучше Дениса Мацуева никто не исполнил пока этот концерт. Нежно, с душой. Были 26.04.24 в Санкт-Петербурге, выступал в Концертном Зале Мариинского театра- акустика, оркестр. Это Божественно❤❤
