Can i ask something, i play core thief im new player and i think always when i go pvp that i must use stealt for backstab, but now i see ur gameplay and i dont see that u use so much stealt for killing, what i do wrong? Sry for my english is not good <3

Not a thief main but want to try the profession, and I see that it involves a lot of movement and skill, which you have dominated. good job Any tips or suggestions for trying thief?
I like to play it like that but there are some builds that involve less "movement and skill" for example p/p witch is way easier. But the thief for me is like a assassin and I like the short range power builds with the D/P for a quick execution. or a bit more range and poisons and bleeds from the shortbow + traps.... This might be because when I started to play this game was with my brother and we were roleplaying.... ;)
Kinda harsh dude! Everyone has to start somewhere in normal play, ranked play, and also making videos. People can make videos just for fun, not because they're trying to show their skills off....
@@KryticalError need a hug?, and there are 10 better theives that anyone would watch rather than this, like Hi im Yama, or Sindrener ...he needds to get better then reccord, hes puting bad image on himself like this, i dont check did he get better, i see 1 video and skip to next player... nobody will take this video as guide after watching some pro...
@@ridkwngridken3863 Hugs are good. Not sure if that's supposed to be an insult. Again, you don't seem to be understanding the point. Not everyone is the best player at their class. That doesn't mean they can't make videos if they want to. And Also they never said this is supposed to be a guide. Not sure what your issue is. For someone who thinks this video shouldn't even exist you sure seem to care about it

@@eolus8432 Staff is better for pve or wvw... in pvp the staff skills use a bit to much initiative in my opinion. And the dagger pistol is the perfect set of weapons for pvp, because you get shadowstep with 3-th skill, aces to blind and stealth with 5 and 2, backstab for a lot of damage, and heatseeker to finish low targets. =)
just as a tip, i do not play thief that well. but when you won teamfight mid,and you capped far node, which was a good decition, you should have either backed off then 2 people came, or played more defensive and look to stall for time, either preventing rotation to mid, or played with terrain, also you could have gone mid to help with teamfight. thief, is not a sidenoader anymore, it is better to use him to win teamfights or to decap nodes and help your teammates. but it is not a good class to hold nodes anymore, without the tanky specter. just as a tip
Guild is good overall in my opinion for outnumbering team fights or helping teammates on side nodes when they get +1, and meld was very nice when it was removing revealed... but now guild or dagger storm are superior in my opinion. And you don't need more invis with this build... You have the stolen skill, blinding powder and 2 dodge rolls.
look at vallun's vids or noody's for some tips .. it was a bit painfull to watch to be honest, once you get to gold games, you'll get absolutely stomped using your initiative and skills like that... but that's a start ! keep it up :) (first advice, if you use your dagger 2 into your pistol 5 smoke field you get 3 second stealth stak, and you can stack it multiple times ^^ )
Mate, idk which level of pvp is this but you are using a powerfull build, learn to combo traps with F skills,dont expect ppl to walk over :) place traps in non obvious position, lure them in or use F1 to pull them in,then push them back with bow skill 3, test of faith does the most damage while going in and out of the trap.
Yea I know... I don't play necro that much and when I play him I usually go for this build bcz its easy to play and be close decent with without trying that much or knowing what the class really does, or I play a core tank condi necro.... I made a video on that too... This was more to show the build then to show how good I'm at necro... Bcz im not =)
From what I know and tested the poison ticks cant reveal you. But you get revealed if you attack a enemy or mark them. If you don't want to get revealed by marking the enemy you need to swap from deadly arts the trait "Mug" for "Deadly Ambition". you get a bit more damage, but lose the mark healing.
Nice video, little advice: You should put your camera a futther away to get a better vision of map and enemies and avoid "tunnel vision" A couple times an enemie attacked you and it was hard to see where he cames couse your camera.
With this build you need to relay on your team a bit more then usual, because if you get focused, your only escapes are short bow 5 and the invisibility from your healing skill. So its a bit harder to go for 1v1 bcz you don't have that much survivability. The trap can be placed defensively at your feet or on a side node , that in combination with your venoms can kill a squishy target, or just buy your team some time to rotate and contest the decap.
