Hey do you happen to know how to remove the filter from inside the fluid reservoir, thing doesn't want to come out? My liquid is too old (all black) and I'm trying to remove as much as possible from the reservoi before adding new fluid, as well as clean filter that is covered in black gunk. Thanks
@@vag8uk thing is I can't reach the bottom of th reservoir. The filter does not allow me to reach it and I can't figure out how to remove the damm filter...
great video nice to see your tools. Halfords advanced tools are good i broke 2 of them they replaced without receipt is not required.. no questions asked
I've just serviced my caddy 1.6tdi after its been hammering regenerations every couple of days. And I've been getting beeping flashing oil light. There must have been almost a litre of diesel in the oil. I had to quickly empty the drain pan and go again with a 5 litre drain pan. So about 5.75 l of old oil came out, 4.5 litres went back in.. I have a feeling im lucky it didn't have a catastrophic runaway engine.
Hi bud, thanks for this video. I just tested my Audi SQ5 as I was hearing pinking / tinkling when increasing in low revs. I have 6 Injection Cylinders and on Cylinder 4 on my excel Log I have 1.13, 1.48 and 1.52, it was at 1.xx on several occasions when accelerating around my estate. Then on 6 lines I have 2.31 to 2.07.. Are you saying I have issues when -1.xx and -2.xx or is this also when 1.xx and 2.xx ?
I lived in the Netherlands for over ten years, and almost always maintained my car myself. In the Netherlands, I have never had my car serviced as diligently as you do in Japan! I always watch your videos, and it's always a pleasure! When I was young, I was a motorcycle mechanic. Now, I am enjoying my retirement in Japan with a trailer truck. Of course, I still do all of my own maintenance on the truck! Thank you!
Hi mate, All my values are low, especially the shoot mass (5.76) and calc mass around (7.07). The hPa is 15-17 while idling on a fully warmed-up car. When reving stationary reaches at 75-79 hPa. The car is running perfectly fine, but every time it hits 90°C, it enters partial regen (not noticeable while driving). However, once I stop the car, the fans keep running. While driving fully warmed up, the DPF input gas temp is about 500-550°C, and the DPF output is 180-220°C. Distance since last regen in 1500km. More than 1.5 years ago, my EGR was hardware and software disabled. Before that, the whole EGR was cleaned, but I still couldn't fix the P2002 error code. Engine is 3.0tdi 240bhp. Any ideas on what I should do?
@vag8uk, today the soot mass calculation, while being at 5.76, suddenly went straight to 20 and it began active regeneration with a temperature of 700°C. The soot mass measurement remained at 5.8. After regeneration was completed, the car maintained a temperature of 500-550°C, depending on how much gas I gave it. After I stopped the car then turned it back on it started partial regeneration again with 500-550c, but soot mass values remained around 5-7... I think that this dpf is gone :( ---
Hi mate, I have petrol RSQ3 with GPF, (2023 model, 7000 miles) OBDeleven is showing the below: Particulate filter, soot load calculated 100.0 % Engine is in limp mode, I think I changed “adaption of ash mass” to 0 by mistake, do you have any ideas? Thank you in advance 👍 P2463 00 - Particulate Filter Restriction -Soot Accumulation Bank 1 P1A91 00 - Particulate filter bank 1, indicator lamp active Edit: Particle filter, soot mass calculated = 6137 mg Particle filter, high level of soot buildup = 7680 mg Particulate filter, soot load calculated = 79.6%
Hy, first of all thanks for the video. I have a problem with my Volkswagen Touran 1.9 tdi. The engine is trembling and the fuel is mixed with oil. So i have some smoke and of course I don't drive the car anymore. I have scanned the injectros and the 4 injcetors are beyond 2.99, all of them. The question is, is it possible that the 4 injectors stop working at the same time? Or the values I have are because of the ring arround the injcetors that are not good anymore. I am lost. I don't know if to change the injcetors, the selling rings or it's the motor. Help please!!
Do not use noname Sensors, they will make problems! You can use 6Q0199167 for engine mount, but it needs to be modified, a piece of metal needs to be welded on because only 2 of 3 holes are right. Concerning rust you may wanto to check your suspension parts especially wishbone
It's the last Golden Week holiday in Japan, but I'm still working today. I always look forward to watching your content. Simple is best. It's very easy to understand, versatile, and the best thing is to do it at your own pace! Keep it up! I never get bored of watching it. I'm waiting for the next video! Thank you. From Japan (^^)d"
Hello.... I launch the regeneration on vcds but the engine rev does not go up... It keeps at same 850/900rpm for over 30mins.... Soot (around 10) does not come down... Temperature before dpf stays at 210°C....
@@vag8uk i tried 3 times, same thing.... Cld there be a settings that i need to change ... Looks like it is in safe mode, not allowing manual regeneration
