Question is reference 96065 considered Extra Flat? Thank you very much for such an informative video in the scarcity of information about vintage Cartier.
I have to disagree with you. For one they are phenomenally well made products. Your statement also implies that any money you'd spend on acquiring it is automatically lost. While you may lose some money its on average far less when compared to other brands out there.
@@steelcityvintagewatches then why put it on, but more importantly, take 4 weeks to reply!!!!! How unprofessional! I won’t be looking at this channel again, waste of my time!
Beautiful pieces! I agree on the added touch of a sub-second dial. Adding on top of that roman numerals and angled lugs, it is easy to see the charm of the 4073.
If money was no object I would buy all the vintage watches I fall in love with. I learn about new models everyday such as this dressy Vacheron from you with a dial configuration that tugs at the heart. Also; time-only is the way to go. More complications just take away from the design cleanliness that an elegant dress watch should have.
Describing the 78086 as a be all end all watch is spot on. Its timeless design is what draws a ton of people into the watch. However from that perspective going for the premium on the Extra Flat sounds more like getting it done all the way to truly fill the gap and stop there. After all when you realize that there is still more, you may end up yearning for it after some time and spend even more.
Learning the ins and outs of a brands historical design differences is such a deep, deep hole of research. I applaud your knowledge Niko. Anytime people post more of these dramas, please make another video like this to hit them with the truth.
Being able to see auctioned pieces that are extremely scarce and you can't find anywhere else is always so mindblowing. I agree with you that those kind of pieces, despite going for exorbitant prices, is due to its one of a kind experience.
