A lovely testimonial to five fabulous weeks on a New Generations Service Exchange program in RI District 2060 in Italy earlier this year! As you know, you are our very first ever, outbound participant, Manvi - thank you for the great example and standard that you have set for the many we hope will follow you, as outbound participants from our District, to countries all over the world. To my counterpart in D2060, 'grazie mille, Valeria!
To call this a "challenge" is just emotional manipulation. I argue that everyone--including advocates of DIE--is "a little racist," that is, human beings are reflexively suspicious and guarded around those who are markedly physically different. If a person in a wheelchair or with a white-tipped cane comes into a room, the able-bodied will become tense & anxious. This is also the unspoken premise of zombie movies (in "Night of the Living Dead," the hero is a black man) & any film featuring an invasion from outer space; suddenly, everyone joins together to fight the enemy.
The Earth is cooler with the atmos/GHGs/albedo not warmer. To perform as advertised the GHGs require “extra” energy upwelling from the surface radiating as a black body. (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0Jijw7-YG-U.html) The kinetic heat transfer processes of the contiguous atmos molecules render that scenario impossible. No greenhouse effect, no GHG warming, no man/CO2 driven climate change or Gorebal warming. Version 1.0 041922

Consider supporting Advancing Parenting. We are a Camarillo, CA nonprofit pioneering a new kind of parenting education...one that reaches everyone, everywhere, all the time. Specifically, we find interesting and perhaps more effective ways of teaching everyone about parenting. We began with sets of fifty-one parenting tips bumper stickers...and they are in great demand. We have requests from across the U.S. and Canada for tens of thousands of them. The requests come from child abuse prevention councils, family resource centers, children’s advocacy centers, schools, and individuals. Sadly, the requests are just sitting in my inbox because we haven't the funds to print them. If we could raise $20,000 we could print 1000 sets of the fifty-one stickers and purchase the plastic holders for them. Won't you help? Donations are of course tax deductible. Advancing Parenting is a one man operation...no office and no employees. Visit our website, www.advancingparenting.org. Use a computer. Our site is not optimized for phones. Please share!
I'd like to share a rather unusual, free, aces prevention resource...parenting tips bumper stickers! Advancing Parenting, a Camarillo, CA nonprofit, produces parenting tips bumper stickers and makes them available at no cost to businesses, organizations, clinics, schools, and individuals. There are fifty-one in a set and each bumper sticker communicates a parenting behavior or practice generally recognized as supporting the healthy development of children. Just one will be read thousands of times! Bumper stickers are a unique and powerful way to educate everyone about parenting and prevent child abuse five, ten, twenty, fifty years down the road. At stoplights drivers and passengers point, smile, and nod. Conversations begin and often a phone is used to take a photo of the sticker right at the stoplight. Presumably, they are being shared on social media. It's wonderful to see! Sets of the stickers can be put in holders and placed on counters and tables so folks can select one or more for their cars. Visit www.advancingparenting.org to order this free resource. Use a computer...our website is not optimized for phones. Please share.
Thanks Mary Turner! I look forward to your insights, leadership and inspiration as we discover new ways to serve in our new world. With all the world facing the same challenges, there is no "us and them" anymore, only "we". And "We" have an amazing opportunity to create unprecedented solutions in these unprecedented times. I am optimistic that we will be more creative than we have ever been. Will our post-Covid world be more caring, more compassionate, more beneficial than our pre-Covid world? Why not!
