Fun/scary fact: The Australian wood moth is the biggest known moth species in terms of sheer weight, and they're known to weigh as much as 30 grams. In fact, this is the only known moth species that can grow big enough that it can't even fly anymore. And in case you're wondering, yes they can in fact get even bigger than the one you see here.
Wow, the moth is very calm even when you touch its wing. It is so strange why it doesn't see you as a threat? It would fly away if did so. I wonder what that little moth brain is thinking in this video. Very fascinating.
Damn I love spicy noodles....... I would ace this challenge lol Nice to see ya back bradman....... when are you going to circumnavigate Aussi on the postie bike....... now that would be a challenge lol
I definitely don’t have the spice gene lol. Samyang buldak 2x spicy is the brand I think if you want to try them. Thanks mate I had to postpone around Australia trip because of health issues. The meds I take make riding to dangerous and I’ve lost most my strength as well. Might have to become a gaming streamer or something lol :)
@@Polstok2024 they only live for about a week as a moth. The first few days they will fly good but as they use up their energy they will start to do what it’s doing in this video and then eventually starve to death :(
That moth is really huge! 😮 It looked like it was having trouble getting upright again, but it seemed thankful for your helping hand. Thank you for saving it. :)
@@mangomariel it does all its eating in the larva stage for a year or two then they go into a cocoon and turn into a moth. They only live as a moth to mate and lay eggs then they starve to death. Some moths do eat but most don’t.
