What is your experience with service ? Cost particularly . Also i have heard about its frequent trips to service centre because of glitches . Have you faced this ? I have bought meridian my 3rd service cost me 45 k
Well it was my second service recently and it costed around 28000 rs And if it will be major service with breakpads changed and some more services than it will cost around 55000
@vaibhavkaushik7237 aa far as I remember, it costed approximately 40k, though this had brake pads replacement included. For a service centre I would recommend trying the various nearby ones because most of the time a satisfactory service is hit or miss.

Why not purchase nexon ev then? These basic items were already known to be not present before due to cost cutting or give other better features. Asking tata to give more items for same price of car (for company to lose money), but you cannot afford higher price EV car! :D There will be always some items added and other removed to maintain the price range (like 10inch infotainment, 360* camera, ventelated seats etc), that too in EV car, which is around 2-3 lakhs more costly compared to ICE. If punch ev had your first 4 small issues (handle, backseat ac vent, backseat cup holder) and removed venetelated seats or 360* camera, then that would have been bigger Issue :D. I agree on 5th point - Extra tyre should have been there, but given this is small car with bottom part having Battery,, I think, not to compromise the boot space more, this was done.
First, the video is about informing people on what features they are missing, not criticising the purchase decision. Second, manufacturers can easily accommodate the mentioned flaws especially for Tata, which has made interior and exterior elements of almost all of its car similar. Giving grab handles, rear ac vents and cup holders in the like of nexon, harrier... Third and final, The first 4 issues are no way small, grab handles for ingress is particularly important for elder people, rear ac vents are now there in almost all top variants of cars under 15 lac so why miss these out on Punch.ev.
@@priyanksinghrana yes agreed it should have been there. but I think this is cost cutting from tata. Punchev even if its on new platform, the top part is taken directly from ICE variant, which itself did not had these things. Now, instead of creating or updating factory machines to accomodate these items, or change/update electrical designs, which would have cost crores, they decided to leave it as it was in older punch. Battery in EV itself costs majority of vehicle cost - this is with all ev vehicles. EV battery cost was lowered recently, so, tata lowered the price of vehicle, as they cannot add these basic items now in production. I think in future models, these items would be present for sure. But I also think, since compared to earlier punch ICE vehicle, there are many new features that they have included in EV, which are additional cost. Hence, on top of PUNCH ICE, many new features and battery cost is what have made it reach 15 Lakh as top model. Overall, I think its cost saving strategy right now while adding some tech features. ALso to have same machines/structures across all models (base or top). One of the example of cost on tech- top model get inbuilt internet (telematics), which cost TATA a lot per month per user to give to network provider - its not Indian data rate, but European data rate, which is a lot.
@@DPMotorss then should have bought 12 lakhs car but you did not, because of many other features that are coming in 15 lakh car. Profit margins are less anyway right now for making EV car. Indian consumer also want many new tech/features but with less price. If you want all the tech/advance feature along with these small items, then should have gone for higher priced ev cars - Nexon ev or MG zs or others. Agreed that, these items would not be much of cost - may be 30-40K, but that is the margin company want to save to make some profit in EV car. :) I think, in order to give these things, they would have to change the Machine frame (which makes these items as automation), which will cost in crores. One more small item you missed - Back seat light is not present in Nexon cars, which cost around 17-18 lakhs. not a deal breaker, but cost saving in changing machines to adjust the Frame of car.
Its not about bringing 12 lakhs car or 15 lakhs and i am not even pointing out the big things here and about the changes the company has to make are nothing this ev is from the new platform and for only ac vents light and cupholders and grab handle company can give them the do not have to make any big changes in manufacturing unit you only mentioned it that it will only cost them around 30k and i know it will be lesser than that and if company wants some profit margin than they would not have given the any discount on the car but they are giving the discount
@@DPMotorss you are slightly incorrect in terms of company making profit if they are giving discount. This may not be true always - for example - Ather was selling its ev scooter for 1.25 lakhs to customers when cost to make each vehicle was 5 lakhs. IT was quite late when they brought down the manufaturing cost lower to selling price and start making profit. Similar with tata, currently, they included many tech features which is new and is costing a lot - for example the Inbuilt Internet - it costs on European data price instead of cheap indian data price. Giving discount is to boost sales and get profit in long term by selling thousands of car down the line and sometime company take these burns.
Well they are totally different vehicle to be compare first a suv can't be compare to a jeep is a JEEP made to outlast that toyota on a real rocky mountain environment that is where you should compare them you don't have such noise pollution on the mountain and i being inside both vehicle is not big difference am from ny and you just shame your self is more jeep than toyota suv any one can confirm now on cars they ok and they loosing ground
I like to see those doors closing smoothly on the mood matter fact I like take him up hill the Appalachian mountain so he cam se how it dies after a few month and I being fair because I think he will exchange it for a jeep on the second week 😅
