Wouldn't be great if Harry and Jimmy Buffett were collaborating together in Rock and Roll Heaven now?

He drove taxi, I drove taxi and I relate 100% to the lyrics. In the early 80’s it was a different time. Harry was a hack driver in NY in the late 70’s, an even more different time. Sure would have been nice to experience more of his talent. I’ll never own or ride in a Volkswagen vehicle. Ever.

Absolutely one of my favorite songs, along with Ridin' the storm out by REO speed wagon. Keep on rollin' was a useful song too!

What A Great Show the Underground News was... The first time I saw John Prine was on the Underground News... They brought a LOT of new talent to the public attention back in the early 70's.

I guess we're old Now, because this sounds like Real Music to me... Not some Fake Crap with a bunch of "Back up Dancers" cavorting around on stage behind The Star...

I saw Harry and his back up band at Butler University. They sounded just as good then as they did in this video. So sad we lost his talent so long ago.
