You're also killing your engine with that Hot Air Intake connected to your throttle body. All your doing when you shut the hood and drive is sucking up hot engine bay heat. This throws off your map and Mas air sensors causing leaning out your fuel mixture. This causes engine stress. I'd fix this first and see if your white smoke stops.
Did u figure out the problem or fix it? I have truck doing same thing and i changed my head gasket and timing chain and cover and when i timed it, thats when it started smoking bad. So jw if u figured out your problem? Tha ks
Dude you can hardly fit your hand in there let alone trying to hold whatever he’s trying to record with probably a phone cut him some slack it’s not hard just get to it
Mine broke trying to pull it out due to heat over almost 30 years almost I’m sure (96 ex) 313k miles ya it happens the oil is worse under mine but it’s honestly a easy job just look for the opening on your intake manifold and follow the hose with your hand
@@austinbates247 Amateur, you need to stop being such a baby, I did it in one minute. You said cut him some slack🤣 you amateurs are such babies, I need to stop watching these video and Talking to you whinnying.
Awesome, thank you for postjng this!. There was another video where a guy did everything under the car, it was a horrible time for him. Glad this has an easier way by doing some steps above the engine.
HELP After I did this when I start the car the last time it starts to do an idle surge it goes up and down, and I went for a little drive, after I drove it stabalized but now everytime I start the car it idles up and down even until I push the gas even if it’s warm, What does this mean??
Could this fix my problem ? I change some stuff in my cluster and my temp gauge is not working 100% and the radiator fan doesnt cime on automatic but when i tried a different cluster i let the car idle to operating temp and the can kickt on no problem put my original cluster back in and id doest wor anymore
I got a 2007 Cadillac Escalade it works for me never had no problem with it I used it twice I have no problem with it some people work for some people that don't
Lessons Learned. If you have to replace your PCV Valve do it when you have to do the oil change. You are killing a bird with one stone as the saying goes.
Replace the tube, grommet, plastic piece and O Ring that connects to the Breather Box. Clean out and seal the Breather box too! Trust me, HUGE DIFFERENCE!!! I have a 95 Honda Del Sol and Never did this... Better response, better gas mileage, zooms better and just more horse power! Before it was sluggish, wasn't breathing right etc... It's easy to get to on these cars. Pay your mechanic to do it... buy parts from Honda. Its' worth it!
did notice notice that on the long ones, the actual little drain plug piece (philips head screw) that came with the radiator, it did not block the little holes on the long part of the piece?
here for the COMMENTS! and / also.... oil ring freeing can take TIME. Treatments often require time..even hundreds of miles...to fully perform. What is wrong w this younger generation? damn..........and - also- thank you for the video. Comments prove out the several errors made.
OK you can’t clean them blow ‘in the big hard stuff off of it Doesn’t do anything for the filter. If you’re going to make a video at least do it right. I do like that you showed how to pull it out that one was way in there and it’s always fun to see the crap fall out but have your part ready to go back in on the video. Yes a little door struggle is real. It really can be that hard to put back on. It’s gonna be hell getting that filter out of there next time. And what did you take the side panel off for? It was kind of fun watching somebody who had no idea what they were doing make a video of doing something to show other people how to do it. It’s like they say those that need to learn become teachers.😂❤
Sir you are not addressing your real problem. Even at the beginning you defined your problem as "white smoke" and oil consumption, which is what this particular product is designed to address, is a bluish color and black smoke, at least on gasoline engines is usually a fuel issue or too rich. I've used this and several similar products from other companies with mostly positive results. Sometimes we allow a problem to progress too far and we expect not just a mechanic in a can but a miracle in a can. Do a pressure check on your coolant system and I think you will find a solution. Also, if this were oil smoke you should be burning oil at a pretty good rate between changes.
You will get higher oil consumption with thicker oil if you have low tension piston rings. Even a high risk off sludge buildup between the piston and the ring. The result is blowby
Clueless aren't you ? Running a thicker oil doesn't cause more consumption. It's been the direct opposite. You in need to do some research since you obviously don't have a clue.
Still happy with the outcome ? Or you don’t ? Because a garage sold me a car with the same problem it’s started after 4 days unfortunately. the car has a misfire … and he wanna buy/try rislone as a solution ?
A lot of these rebuild in a can additives do actually help in some cases, at least to get you by for a while, but they are not instant by any means. You need to give it a couple thousand miles to help motor internals. I'll take your word for the smoke, it isn't very much, but if it is white that is usually coolant. Oil smoke is a richer blue and hangs in the air. You can't miss it. Take off your oil cap and see how much smoke if any comes from the oil hole. People want instant gratification. Patience is a virtue. Hey, 3 years later - what were your results after 1 2 3 years? That will be a better test.
Sorry to hear that. But This product worked for me. Audi 134,000 miles. Every morning would start it up and had smoke. I followed the directions and it worked. Great product
wrong product, however condensation makes white smoke all the time might not be an actual problem, also fuel mixture. and why do people expect results in 5 minutes, drive it 1000 miles or so and then make a point.
