Unfortunately this completely ruined one of the most beautiful songs ever. It was extremely overdone, not just in some places, but contuously throughout... You can't appreciate a song's beauty or melody or hear any emotion in the singers voice if every single word is turned into trills and woah oh woahaaaa ooh ooohs... I can't sing veey well and a comment like this probably comes across as jealousy. But the reality is that what she did with her vouce just did not sound nice at all, it was ine of the rare occasions that I listen to a song and really cringe. I found it inceeasingly unbearable. I agree with the other comment that eveeyone needs to hear Leonard Cohen's original to understand just how horrific this hysterical adaptation is...
