Hi I'm Katherine ♡ I'm a mama to a beautiful little boy, Grayson. My path to motherhood has been a journey with its share of heartache. On April 18, 2021, I experienced the unimaginable loss of my first son, Liam, due to complications related to PPROM and an incompetent cervix. Liam will forever hold a special place in my heart, and I strive to keep his memory alive.
My hope is that by sharing my story, I can offer support, comfort, and information to others who have experienced similar challenges or simply want to celebrate the journey of motherhood with me. Let's inspire and uplift each other.
Just discovered that I have a 9cm cyst on right ovary and 2.2 cm on left ovary. CA 125 and He4 tests came back in normal range but I too am experiencing nausea, bloating and dizziness which scares me. I'm due for a pap next week and a biopsy the following week and after we get those results plan for surgery. I'm so scared about the anesthesia. This will be my 1st major surgery since my tubal ligation after my son's birth 7 years ago.
Hello, thank you for sharing your story. Would it be possible to share your cervix length when you had the cerclage, and if it stayed the same throughout the rest of the pregnancy?
@@joyaboumansour2474 aw you’re welcome thanks for watching! My cervix was around 3.5cm if I remember correctly and after the cerclage it was 3.8-4cm around there. It did stay the same
Thanks for your very nice vidios u share maam i am surgery me on july 172024i am so nervous because i dont have any family here to take care of me uts difficult😢
I just had this surgery 4 days ago and I had a 6cm and 5cm on each ovary. The gas is the worst at first and I was bloated so bad the 2nd day I was terrified of pooping tbh but I’m taking stoll softeners and I have went about 2 times I’m starting to feel hungry again but kind of unsure of what to eat atm. I took a bunch of medication before actually and a patch for nausea night before
8:50 😃 *Noah* is my favorite boy's name ...largely due to actor *Noah Wyle* ...so trust me when I tell you that you aren't alone on Tv-name-association thing lol
Thanks for sharing your journey. I will be having a laparoscopic procedure to remove a 6 cm cyst from my left ovary in 5 days. And I am terrified of the anesthesia and the pain, but I’m definitely ready to get it over with. Your video has been very informative and helpful.
Please i need your reply ...after laproscopy i feel the same lump that i was before i feel that my cyst didnt come out? Is it just after laproscopy or cyst is still there?
Nice, feeling how the bloating and pain receded within approximately two months made all the difference, I simply go’ogled the latest by Tilly Strankten and her Ovarian Cyst Guide and although it really took about 10 weeks for it to totally shrink and vanish I’ve never felt so light and relaxed.
You’re right, feeling how it began to shrink and eventually disappear within 2 months was so liberating. I followed the steps I mentioned, and within the first 2 weeks the bloating was gone. I simply go'ogled Tilly Strankten's Ovarian Cyst Guide and it's like I hit the feel-good reset button lol.

Sweetheart, with all the sadness in my heart but I am so happy to see your beautifull son in your arms 🥹 God bless you and your family , pray for me too 💔
Yes my thoughts exactly. You could see him trying to get comfortable and relax but the way the stroller is made it doesn't seem possible for him to fall asleep comfortably
I have a funny little story that might help you . When I was a baby I would never NEVER fall asleep until I was held on my mom or laying on her or if she needed me and my brother to sleep she would take us on car rides to have us sleep. That was 19 years ago I still fall asleep next to my mom and I find it funny how my mom is like wow it’s just crazy you get into the car and you fall asleep like that (lol I wonder why)
I had the same procedure but my condition is Ovarian torsion on the right side with dermoid cyst and another cyst on my left ovary. Never have I expected to have this issues since I workout a lot but I do feel bloated and pee a lot. Now I’m recovering and so far it’s getting better compare to the sharp pain I felt two days ago.
How are you ladies able to get doctors to actually approve surgery? I have bilateral cysts, one 6cm and one 7cm and they cause me pain and the doctors are just saying to wait and see.
When he was a baby it was perfect! But I think now as a toddler surprisingly I find myself needing something larger - for snacks, water bottle, toys, coloring books, etc!
Thank you so very much for sharing this information! I am having some symptoms that you had and I totally understand how you felt. Would you mind if I ask how much the insurance covers? Thank you again!
I started watching you last night regarding your ovarian cyst surgery. I have my consultation today to schedule my surgery. I’m thinking of you I hope things get better for you
It’s so nice to hear that people are sharing the same experience. I just had the same surgery to remove a 24cm cyst that was filled with a 2 liters of fluid. I’m also 12 weeks pregnant! Everything went beautifully but recovery is taking longer than I thought
Im about to have this surgery while pregnant as well. So glad yours went well! Prayers for a full recovery & for the rest of your pregnancy to go smoothly! Thank you both for sharing your experiences ♡♡♡🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿 its really helping me mentally prepare for the future.
hi ladies my daughter have dermoid cyst on her ovary and im just here for prayer and information. From being a woman that have had 3 c-sections im eager to learn more about it..pray you guys are having a blessed day
I currently have a 6 pound ovarian cyst , I want to start by saying in 2015 I was told I had a tiny ovarian cyst on my right ovary. Unlike many people, they don’t think it’s gonna get bigger . So life happened and fast forward to a couple of months ago and here we are. I have several symptoms, but I didn’t really have the ones you had. I have surgery this week and I extremely nervous. This is my first surgery I’ve ever had thank you for sharing your video. It has called my nerves down some thank you I really appreciate it .
last week i had a dermoid cyst and my right ovary removed. it was causing pain on my pelvic, waist, and rib area. my doctor was shocked during surgery because it was bigger than what the ct scan and ultrasound had shown. it was 15 cm.
The gas definitely did get to my shoulders and it was so uncomfortable! But it only lasted a few days. Peppermint tea is what helped me the most for the gas.
@@ohhellokat is their one that is already made in a bottle bc I will only have my 11 and 13 to help me after wards and when they put u to sleep did it feel like you just fell asleep and woke up 5 mins later?
@@jenniferlowery6277 the sleeping part yeah that’s exactly what it felt like. Asleep one moment and then I was up, didn’t feel a thing. I’m not sure about the tea in a bottle
I just want to say thank you so much for doing this video. It made me cry. I’ve been feeling so alone going through this. I’m almost 4 weeks post op but I’m still having pain and it’s been so amazing reading everyone’s stories and getting validation and knowing I’m not alone. So, thank you ladies for sharing in the comments. We got this. ❤
@@leleprtk I’m think I’m finally back to my normal self in that regard. I started lifting weights again at the gym and it felt fine. I didn’t do anything ab intensive though. The only discomfort I had week 5 was that the shoulder pain came back so that sucked for like a week.
