25mw is lowest and what it comes with as default. Sadly, still get the heat warning. Think it's because of all the plastic covering it. I have heard drilling holes helps, or ignoring the warning.
@@FPVwineUK my tinyhawk plus is similar. Can’t fly it slow otherwise it overheats and drops out the sky. I fly it outdoors instead. I guess the Cetus is not ELRS?
I don't usually search through my history to find a video, but I must say thank you because I was building a 3 inch with the speedy bee stack, and I came across the same problem the front motors would not spin, but I remembered you had a problem with the main cable, this information saved me stripping it back down. Awesome.
I have a Crux35 as well and am also seeing the mid flight VTX channel change, also from 8 to 5. It must be something in the VTX. Lately I’ve been using Raceband 1 and haven’t experienced the mid flight channel change. It does sometimes change channels on startup, it will say it’s on channel 1 but will send on channel 3 or 5 for instance. If I restart the drone once or twice it will start on channel 1 and stay there. Nice save with the angle mode!
Ah interesting. I have reloaded the firmware and LUA code and it still does it. I put mine down to landing in a tyre that had water in it. I have it conformal coated now! Thanks for letting me know. My fav pre build for sure, I just upgraded mine to Caddx Vista Polar, and it still gets about 10 mins flying!!!
Thank you! The dang firmwares got me... I am terrible for not reading instructions! Cost me a lot of time here. Absolutely loving digital now, DVR footage is instagramable.
Once I have saved I want the Mob8 for business reasons! It's just that bit expensive atm... Although rumour has it 04 systems are coming (already in the NEO) and the o3 unit just dropped in price in the USA!
@@FPVwineUK it’s so weird because the O3 dropped in Switzerland by my brother is still in the uk and paying full price for it. O4 not expected to arrive for around 6 months and using my friend’s AVATA 2 at the weekend, the image quality is pretty good, but not the same leap as the Vista to O3
Oh man! I did this, plus tested the long range abilities and when I came to take the goggles off... my draw dropped and it was a very long-dark walk back up to my car from the cliffs I was flying :') such an epic bit of kit!
In your opinion , does it look like there's less props in view than standard Crux v2 frame? Also, know of any deadcat frames that anybody has tried swapping out on Crux?
@@cjgillygoo35 yeah, you are most likely correct that there are less props. They actually help me now, knowing what angle I am at. Only had my crux35 frame for a day 😂
@@FPVwineUK hell yeah dude, much respect for the passion, hope FPV will be the same way for ya. I was never good at skating transitions lol I liked to kickflip to flat tho lol
Mate, just watched the video and you absolutely smashed. It ❤ would love to see outtakes clip show but go fly a few packs 1st get away from the computer
Thanks Micky! Always 'off the wall' me. Pleased everyone 'gets it'. Our interview cracked me up, every time we went to speak we spoke over each other. Made me laugh every time I got to the part to edit. Looking forward to next year!!!
Haha thanks! I have been doing my sk8wine channel since 2015 - just never broke the social media algorithms (plus being a conspiracy nut job or someone who is opinionated doesn't help). Has taken me to some extraordinary places in skateboarding though, just making videos...
Gotta love the beginner mistakes 😂 here’s some of mine. 1: I ordered a 30x30 stack for a frame that only fits up to 20x20 stacks 2: I ordered the wrong antennas for the ufl to RP SMA adapters that came with the frame I got 3: I didn’t really secure my balance leads very well(I just tucked it in between the battery and the xt60 lead) and got a nice spark show coming from the obliterated balance plug after a simple crash. 4: I didn’t realize one of the VTX antennas were damaged making my vtx turn into quite the spicy boi. Didn’t kill it but easily could have. You’re gonna make dumb mistakes and those dumb mistakes will be ingrained into your head making you better in the future.
1 and 2 are so easily done. I have done and continue to accidentally do 3. No. 4 - this very build I didn't know you HAVE to have an antenna connected, pretty sure it is why this VTX has a lot of interference :S
@@AsgardStudios I’ve just upgraded to digital in this quad, this week, after FPVdronefest uk… yeah, I now see the difference with trying things like trippy spin - gravity is less forgiving!
Can't believe this channel has only around 400 subs. Quality of the videos suggested multiple times more. Thanks for the vid and fingers crossed with the channel!
Thanks for the great tip! Sure, I will try to buy one on AliExpress. Guess what caused smoke on my expensive Apex 5, 5 inch frame, t-motor 60 pro, Walksnail moonlight and a dji action 2? I tried to add LED strips on the edges of the frame, during testing, something burnt and smoke and smell of PCB after it. After hours of checking, it was the the edges of the frame! I didn't know carbon fiber conducted electricity!
Oh yes it does! I have read this and probably seen it said in a JB video! Not sure I would trust the Ali Express smoke stoppers, but most likely all comes from the same factory. I bought mine from a UK distributor. I think with something so important, the quality and warranty matters! Good luck with the smoke stopper!
Always good to see smoke stoppers 🎉, but (trying to be helpful) never on these videos, one failure connection and how to proceed is shown. ( maybe only JB)
