JUST A NORMAL FAMILY SHARING OUR LIFE AS WE Homeschool, joyfully live, serve our Savior and show how we are caring for our home and budget it’s what we’re all about here 😍
Our uploads are sporadic, so you'll be just as surprised as we are when a video comes out .
@@Mamato12_blessings-md8xw You're welcome. It's a relatively cheap curriculum and I think very worth it! I hope it will work out for you if you try it.
Hi, we have used a handful of curriculums. One of my children is dyslexic so we have a specific curriculum for her that uses the Orton Gillingham method. For my others, we have used the McGuffy Primers and All About Reading.
Finishing out our first full year of Ambleside. Still figuring it out, but it has been rewarding! I find that scheduling the readings throughout the year has been a little challenging. And adding absolutely everything is a challenge. Nature and poetry fell to the wayside a bit. The readings/audios we used we exceptional. Any tips on geography, writing/spelling, dictation?
Thank you. I took a nap right after I edited this video lol. I am so happy with how it came out. I can't wait to see the rest unfold. Thank you so much for your support.
That really sucks. I bought a smart watch for 90 off marketplace. Met man in tehachapi. He said it needed to be charged but showed that it turned on. Got home and it wouldn't turn on. Messaged him and he said it worked for him just fine the last time he used it and I can't call fossil and maybe they can figure it out. They couldn't help me without mind info and he blocked me. Crazy thing is he had children and seemed like a nice family. Boy was I fooled.
Oh I am so sorry Jessica. It's so painful having money taken from you for an item that supposed to be like new or at least usable. It's so sad what people do to scam and take money from others.
I love this. I started homeschooling my 5 year old and it’s been amazing. Watching your video gave me encouragement to do something I’ve always wanted to do thanks soooo much. Blessings 🙏🏾
That's amazing. Blessing to you and your family. I hope that homeschooling throughout all the highs and lows will be a success for you and an enjoyment.
You are absolutely fabulous. What stores do you do your grocery shopping at? Do you stock up on water? Can you possibly do some in store grocery shopping videos? It would be awesome if you could show how you do your full shopping trip
Sure I would be happy to. We mostly shop at Walmart, albertsons, Aldi and thrift shops. Occasionally dollar tree and dollar store. I really appreciate the kind comment. It made my morning.
Thank you for the video. I live in a rural area. We have to drive to a city for grocery shopping. It used to take about a 30 minute drive to get groceries. We have the interstate closure problem which causes trucks to be rerouted to the smaller roads and that makes it over an hour trip to a city. We can go west to one city and find Groceries at Walmart, Aldi, Big Lots, and Home Depot. They have lots of empty shelves. We can go North East to a different city and and find Walmart, Aldi, Dollar Tree, and and Rural King. They also have empty shelves. We can go South to another city for Sav A Lot, Dollar General and Dollar Tree. Here lately, The city to the south of us has been well stocked. We can go farther to a bigger city Southwest and they are also stocked. We have not ventured to another city Northwest of us because it is farther away. I am well stocked up on most things right now. I also do not like to pay too much. Walmart has a international/ ethnic grocery aisle where I get the 28 cents for a 7 ounce package of pasta. I got pasta sauce in jars and cartons as well as the just add water powders to make sauce. I have dried vegetables and boullion cubes for a cheap vegetable soup. For storage, I put over the door shoe organizers on the door for the laundry room and filled them with shampoo and body wash. I do need to work on laundry detergent.
Those are great recommendations for storage! I’m glad you are stocked up well it’s such a blessing for that to happen. I love that section your talking about at Walmart too. It is very affordable.
Yes! They are a National Geographic kit I put the link in my description for the one we used. :) we loved it. A few of ours were also from the rock and mineral museum in Boise, ID
That date do NOT mean when it goes bad. It only means it is at its best thru that date. The date system is a manufacturer set up - gets people to buy more. I use to run a food pantry - so I have been educated on this. Do some research on Best By, Use by, ... they mean different things. Great video! Thanks.
Many Targets right now are doing their fall reset. The one by me has lots of empty shelves, but they also have the parking lot roped off with a bunch of containers and a lot of the store roped off because they're about to do a reset. I HAVE noticed meat prices are skyrocketing.
It sure is ! Wild to have amazing clearance but to be out of other full price things on the self. Very contradicting. Hopefully it doesn’t get much worse.
I AM IN PHILADELPHIA, AND GOING TO MY LOCAL WALMART THEY ARE TRYING TO HIDE THE GAPS BY PUTTING ARTICLES AND FOOD SIDEWAYS INSTEAD OF BACK...AND THE FREEZER ARE SCARY TO LOOK AT FOR THOSE WHO ARE NOT GETTING THEMSELVE'S READY
you havent seen anything yet. biblical famines are nigh, already appearing. Truckers getting fed up, better get food, gas now. Aussies already blocking freeways in Australia, I hear of reports US truckers turning off engines as well, so get ready for 2 months of possible panic?
Have heard of farmers being paid extra to destroy their crops instead of harvesting! I definitely recommend getting a vacuum packer and get powdered & freezedried foods.
@@theconleefamily5 I made a page for myself and started taking a Bible class and biblical Hebrew! 😂Also being from a Christian perspective I can correct his world view. And❤️Parents can learn too! It is such a blessing! 🙏❤️
So terrifying! Glad she is okay! Hope they had fun with swim lessons! Jonas had a scare in the pool before swim lessons 3 years ago but thankfully he forgot his fear when he made a new friend in the class. Hope the same happened with Lani
I am defiantly going to be looking these up! I need help with with finding the square root of things along with advanced division and decimals... For science I really like the "Rock 'N Learn" videos (very silly full of puns/dad jokes) But don't try their language ones (not really young kid minded more highschool / adult guided) Hopscotch has a bunch of fun learning videos "Smile and Learn" also has a lot of learning videos "Marbles The Brain store "- 'tour the world' - Brain Beats 2 CD ( POP 'rap' but with real knowledge fun informative songs) Classical Conversions cycles 1-3 songs (free on youtube )
"the lint looks like socks" reminds me of what my friend told me is the reason we always have missing socks: "dryer lint is the cremated remains of the missing socks" LOL
Hey just came across you channel! You have a beautiful family! I have a Kalani! So kind of similar! ☺️💗 loved hearing about homeschooling, my kiddos are too young to homeschool, but I love learning more for when I start! Can’t wait for more from you! 👍🏻💗
Aww Welcome ! Your daughter name is so similar to Leilani’s that is too cool. Thank you so much for subscribing what a blessing. We love homeschooling and will talk about this a lot here. If you ever want to talk about it I’d love to. It’s such a beautiful experience as a family!
