David Gilmore and the rest of the band has said that they had nothing to do with the connection. When they wrote the Dark Side of the Moon the technology was not avaliable to do this. It happened because some guy was matching albums to movies for fun and discovered this . just luck. Try it yourself. Take a favorite album and play it to a movie with the sound off. See what you get. The playing of money is perfect. The wizard of oz is an alagory for how america should back its currency. The whole land of oz is about money. Its incredible

It suits sometimes but not always (Us and Them doesn’t make sense at all, for exemple). It’s great to watch both things at the same time anyway.

I could only do about 20 minutes and I did see some connections, but my guess is you could put this with just about any movie and find connections. Still thought it was cool though.
