Just cause a motor is stuck,, don't mean it's a bad motor,, Your Right! Have "unstuck" some hard ones, squirt lubricant in the holes, and little turn, little more, little more, and it works!

I'm sure it's been mentioned, but the reason heating the plastic brings out the black is you're drawing the oils out of the material. It's only a temporary fix.

Hey. I run the same engine and have had no issues in 7 years 800hours. Last month its started to play up. So I'm rejetting the carbs. It was a very fuel efficient Engine. How much does the fuel economy suffer with the bigger jets or is it minimal thanks.

All you need to do is use a caliper and measure the seal. Buy a non yamaha seal that is the same dimensions and type.

Good video. I have a 1436 with a Johnson 33 both from the 1960s. Old school but a blast to run.

That's the 3rd best 2 stroke Yamaha put out IMHO. I think the v6 225 edges out the 200, but their all time greatest 2 stroke achievement has to be the 90. That's a fine boat. And that Yamahammer sounds great.

Mercury's are Fast, Kiekhaefer brand will beat Evinrude but Evinrude will always bring you back without rowing
