That REALLY takes me back. I had an IBM "portable PC" in 1987 with the monochrome amber screen built in. It ONLY weighed 30+ pounds and was physically larger than most mid towers are today. It was clearly the predecessor to modern laptops. Good thing about the old model M's; They were big, heavy, and doubled as a legit self defense keyboard if needed.

went looking for this keyboard as I had tested it at a electronics store in Japan around 2012 and loved it but went with the filco ninja at that time because of the front facing printed keys. Fast forward to 2024 and find out its discontinued! topre doesn't seem to make 55g switches based on the line up they have on their website... you still using it? curious how its holding up for you.
