I remember as a teenager staying up late to record this on VHS. It was so epic. I still have that VHS somewhere, but it's nice to see someone posted it. ❤
Tattooed it on my right arm with a black dog this summer. Fitting tribute and my personal ghosts. My hero died last year…his funeral on my birthday. Had no cake…
10 years since this came out. Probably 10 years since I last watched it, but today the song was played at a party and it immediately rang a bell! What an awesome part 🔥🔥🔥
Im from Richmond VA. I mean no pretentiousness. But i walk these streets and see Sparklehorse everyday and everywhere. Hes my favorite. Hes my retreat when im often sad and distributed. I will continue because of this art and its dark beauty. Sorry to be dark and whatnot, but its important that he is remembered. R.I.P Mark Linkous.
Wow.. Just wow. I've never seen this performance before and I thought I'd seen just about everything RU-vid had to offer from Mark's live performances. This might be the BEST one I've ever seen.
I remember staying up all night waiting for this show to air the song. I recorded it on VHS and have it put away. This was in LA, before heading up to SF where Sparklehorse would offer a free show at Amoeba Records a day before headlining their at Bimbo's 365 in North Beach. I was able to drink some beers with Mark, talk motorcycles, and 8mm films that I was playing onto walls, with his music. I have the setlist from Amoeba and Bimbos', given to me and signed by Scott Minor.
In this performance Mark Linkous looks very neat, fresh, look how cool he is And this performance is amazingly good The first time I fell in love with Sparklehorse's works, and at that time I was sad when I found out that this ribbon is no longer there because the great artist is gone Peace there Mark Thank you for your great work Thank you so much for uploading this video do you still have other videos about Sperklehorse please upload them all, if we always admire his amazing work, and want to always see it Thank you very much. .
