*THANKYOU* ❤️ LOVE IT AS ALWAYS GLAD YOU ARE DOING THIS WEAVE , I REALLY NEED TO GET WEAVING DOWN TO A FINE ART AS IVE NOT DONE MUCH & A FEW OF THE GOES I DID … JUST 2 WIRES , COILING ALONG 1 WIRE AROUND 5 TIMES & THEN AROUND BOTH WIRES 5 ( ISH 🤨 ) TIMES 😂 LOOKING BACK THEY ALL DIFFER SO SOME ARE 3 AROUND 1 > 3 AROUND 2 , BUT SOME ONLY HAVE 2 ⁉️🙈 THOUGH THATS NOT MY BIGGEST PROBLEM … LOL , I START OFF WITH MY DEATH-GRIP OF COURSE 😂🤦♀️ THEN AFTER FIGHTING WITH THE BASE WIRES TO STOP IT TWISTING I GET TO THE END & LOW & BEHOLD I HAVE SOMEHOW ENDED UP WITH THE FIRST HALF OF IT HAVING MY CONSTANT COILING ALONG THE BOTTOM WIRE & THE GAPS BETWEEN THE WEAVE ON THE TOP WIRE ( AM I MAKING ANY SENSE ⁉️😂 ) TO THE LAST HALF BEING THE OTHER WAY ROUND 🤨🙆🏻♀️🤣
Thanks for these super versatile designs! The teardrop can also be a pendant and the square one could be drops on a necklace or a bracelet. If you are looking for ideas, I would love to see a project that uses a hammered wire frame (14, 16, 18g) with minimal weaving and no or few flourishes that will showcase a stone that already has a lot going on like banded agates, busy jaspers etc. Most of what I am seeing is very ornate wirework around less complex stones. Thank you and have a great week!
What a great use for clasps to become bails.! I hope you don't get upset, is there a way to quite the sound of your pliers hitting the table? I'll still watch your creativity. 🙃🌻
@@cosmiccoyotedog-doreenb9605 not much I can do about it, that’s what microphone pics up. You can mute the video and read the subtitles. It takes RU-vid some time to generate them, not sure how long. But they should be there eventually. Hope this helps
Thanks so much for this tutorial. I have done mostly beadwork over the years and never liked using seed beads for a pendant bail. These are both great alternatives with two very different looks.
Anothet great video! Would be good to see what way you finish them, putting patina on and the way you go about polishing the pieces. Also every video I'm listening for the tippy taps of your dog walking about haha
You can reverse the flush cutters to help each ring from needing to be filed flush cut one ring reverse flush cutters cut the next ring & so forth less sharp sides & less filing etc or trimming excellent video & very helpful ❤
@@twoloosewires aww thanks love the video because I didn’t think about making LARGER type jump rings it could be used in so many ways I think just typical sizes so many fun things you can do with different sizes!!
This is helpful as I often don't have a jumping in the right size and color for my pieces. There are very few tutorials about making free standing wire bails so if you have experience or ideas for one or two that would be great.
Glad your back beautiful design! Random question on where you got your cutting mat? Love it has mm sizes on the side & so easy for cutting, measuring etc ❤
@@angieshortt1111 thank you! I’m glad to be back! You can get this mat on Amazon or any craft store. It’s got cm on one side and inches on the other. Pretty neat!
Absolutely! It's very common to use this frame structure with round wire. Most of the times you can use round instead of square. It will look slightly different, but that's about it.
hello.....liking your teaching very much, you really are good at showing and explaining how to work with wire, I was wondering if you have a tutorial for herringbone wire wrap thank you
thank you so much! I don't have a herringbone tutorial, but I was actually thinking of making one. Meanwhile check Abbey Road Creations. Her herringbone tutorial is really good!
Not sure what you mean by space between the cab and the frame. I have a video for a square wire frame with three wires. It’s the same thing, but using one wire. You may want to check out Mithril Arts channel. She definitely has a video about such frames, also she is absolutely phenomenal!
I don’t, it’s always a guesstimate. You can measure by making for example a 4” coil, then make a double coil from it and you will know the length. If you mean the weaving wire, I keep it on a spool, so I have no idea.
