...So many years later and still one of the most grounding songs I've ever heard. I am more than grateful for Mr. Ben Harper and The Blind Boys of Alabama for this collaboration... The emotions I can shed whilst listening to this amazing bleeding heart of a song are far beyond what I can produce by myself. So THANK YOU! And thank all of you for being righteous people =D We are certainly never alone; if we choose not to be. Chose wisely, my friend.
11 years after this was uploaded...still sitting there mesmerized, with running tears of joy. Thank you, Mr. Williams for uploading this gem. Love, peace and happiness to you and all yours.

Karpe Diem-Romantic He sounds whiny and overly breathy. He sings with a ridiculous amount of breaks. I guess he's trying to sound emotional, but it sounds terrible. That's not how you sing.
Thomas O'Hare It isnt how you sing but that is a way he sings. And I can guarantee you that he isnt the only one. It is all really preference. To me he sounds great. If anything I think he brings in a lot of the emotion in the song.
