It's a 50 year old curiosity. It was in service as a motorcoach for nearly 20 years since 1977. Later it was used as a mobile streetwork bureau. Actually it's sold to a motorcoach service who restore it frame off.
Weiß irgendjemand etwas über den Verbleib des Hotelbusses aus der Gigaliner/Jumbocruiser Serie? Anscheinend ist der wohl irgendwann nach Amerika verschifft worden - lebt der noch oder ist der schon verschrottet?
Nothing new New York City actually has more than their share of these tended buses and they do great it would have been nice however to see what the double-decker Transit bus look like in the inside oh well maybe next time drek

A double decker uses more fuel, has smaller stairs, less headspace and a narrow interior in general, higher point of gravity, can't go everywhere because of it's height and it's low floor, is more difficult to adjust for disabled, limited luggage capacity and makes regular maintenance complicated and expensive.
