Take care to let the top plastic cover loose. Else the tap to wake the thermometer does not work anymore. Seems the detection requires the plastic top to not be in contact then make a contact with the pad on the circuit. But if the cover is too tightly pressed on the detector pad the contact is always on and no tap is detected. The heat way is to not touch the plastic top while putting back the border cylinder. And check mid reinsertion if tap still works.
Take care not to hold the bottom while pushing the top. Because the cylinder to remove does not go to the bottom. You could also put the object on a surface, put your thumb on the middle and pull the border to the top with your other fingers. Slower but easier to do reproduvibly and you don't risk breaking the cylinder.
Thank you, I was searching for this only. Manufacturers / sellers just can't simply provide these instructions. For their business interests so much of Earth's resources are wasted forever and cost of which ultimately would come to them also.
To open you have to hold the border, push the top without hold the bottom because the border is the thing to remove but the bottom is not part of the border. (There is a small gap between the bottom and the border cylinder near the bottom of the border)
this shit is not working anymore.. now they glue the caps so you can not chamge the battery.. so you will buy a new one.😂 i will never buy again this shit.☺
