I don't exaggerate when I say they're couch potatoes 90% of the time which might be nice for you. I think it would depend on if you can find a way to get them a lil bit of exercise each day
Love how Kev profiles the hounds and genuinely engages with them. You are an amazing person. The hounds must adore you. I salute your passion for homing these magnificent hounds. Bless your kind heart.
Love your work with the hounds. God bless you. PS: love Turbo. What an adorable hound. I adopted a greyhound in Australia. Best thing I ever did. They are regal, loyal and loving animals.
Hi I'm am very interested in your boy Oscar I had a beautiful black lurcher named Barney from 6 weeks old and 2 weeks ago I had to make the hardest decision of my life I had to have my old boy put to sleep as he had a rare form of bone cancer.
Kevin, does the potential house for adoption need a garden with grass?... the potential houses that I am thinking of buying do have a garden but they don't have grass ... Also, I'm based in Suffolk, could the adoption be considered even though it's not the closest to you?. Thanks.
No, we judge each case on their own merits so house wouldn't be a problem. We have kennels in Essex and South Lincolnshire so both could deal with Suffolk if you wanted to get in touch.
Same for my partner and me ... I cannot wait to find a proper house to give him a call... Since little I've always wanted a greyhound but my parents never allowed me ... After crossing the ocean and start living in England, the story is another... Gather the money for buying a house with a nice garden... I think the day that Kevin will visit my house I will have to prepare a big dinner; not just for the dog, but because he will make my dream come true!... He will be something like my fairy godmother 😂. Thank you for the video Kevin!, I was really missing to see the little ones. Penny and Master found a house!. I'm so glad 😍.
Retired race horses live in style, dogs are retired to chain length kennels and know nothing about just being a dog, all they know or have been taught is wearing a muzzle and chasing a lure around a track and put back in a kennel until they can’t compete anymore, all they do is run and get put in a cage making someone some money, and they love to run but if they can’t win the money they don’t get to run anymore and not wanted anymore, such is the life of a race dog
Hello Kevin. Where is the part two of the video?. I cannot wait to see it. Hopefully this year I will be able to give you a call and adopt one of your amazing greyhounds, until then I will have to watch and watch your videos. It is lovely to see that pretty much every weekend you post a video of them. Please keep doing it, I love it 🤗. Loads of love Pilar.
Do you have one who would not be too interested in a family member’s small dogs & if so, would you allow a dog to travel with a pet courier? I ask because of the distance involved.
Hi Kevin, do you know of any trainers who would rehome dogs themselves in the south west, especially near Bristol? I’m not able to travel hundreds of miles, but would love to find a nice male dog, who is not TOO high on prey drive, because family members have small dogs.
It would be great if some dogs from “up north” could be brought south to RGT Honiton. People are queuing up for dogs & they’re struggling to source them from Ireland.
If anyone from Honiton Greyhound Trust wants to get in touch I would be more than happy to put them in touch with some trainers who may be pleased to hear from them.
I adopted my lovely Harri (Droopy's Harrison) from your Epping branch, Peaceful Pets two years ago. Olivia and Bethia were fab, and couldn't have been more helpful. The dogs are so loved and well cared for. We sometimes go to Peaceful Kennels for visits, and for Harri's pedicure. He's so pleased to see Kelly and Julie, who look after the dogs brilliantly. It's been an all round great experience, I can't recommend Peaceful Pets more highly.
