I'm calling to make an appointment with his office today. My name is Darrell I'm from Maui I've heard so many good things about Dr Lorenzo. I'm the one that picked him, after learning about him I'm so Happy!!! I did.
Dr. Fabi I don't know just from this video seems good, would add my knee just a little at the gym only when doing sitting bending knee, doctor wouldn't say a thing when being told, that was 2005 moved to CA 2008 that same knee went out much pain even to the hip long history but doctor after doctor wouldn't anything one even asked me "What did the other doctor do" Me: told me nothing so that doctor just said walk it off waited waited waited finaly on my own find Orthopedic surgeon he did ex rays found arthritis did a steroid injection lasted for 6 days calles office set up an appointment he did shot again I didn't need to see him for 6 months than shot again lasting 6 months BUT next shot last a year than next last a year an a half, last one done 2015 moved to Seattle end of 2016 by start of 2017 pain was back when to doctor walked in with injection lasted three days said do surgery been finding doctor ever since Seattle will not do steroids if they do they are at the lowest dose knowing I would think that will do nothing maybe for some, I got from the few that kept saying operation they do not want to do steroids 2017 place her called UW sports medicine because of going through all that with so many doctors I asked UW front desk do they carry Decadron and Kenalog YES will the doctor use both YES would doctor like to have my CA fax what was do for me in CA YES, looking back don't think that doctor like this but his staff each time asking a question (my appointment was a month away so would each week call asking even asking the doctors nurse with her to all the questions YES) Date of appointment doctor asked me what I'm there to see him for explain he told its immoral and unethical he wouldn't use steroids that was the end of that visits. That doctors hospitals does carry both steroids. If I hadn't had my CA doctor with injection I could do movement, walking gym stretching ellipticals weights more walking no pain anywhere I think CA doctor would rather not do surgery and wanted to do injection first he didn't do as Seattle does when that 1st injection lasted 6 days and say "Oh well you can't get another for 3 months and it will be the same low dose not get out of here" instead he might of just increased the dose lasting for 6 months as said after a few more shoots lasting a 1 1/2, I would rather do that than surgery I believe my CA doctor and me would start to get it when time was to have surgery. I found something that works just as good as surgery. This patient faired well I have spoken to other patients (those patients not with this doctor) where all surgery done was given them a different pain to deal with add for some long rehab.
After 6 years hell pain in my right hip , now I am 66 , 5 injections plasma ( no help) lost 50 pounds , they said lessen the pain , none of these helped. So I decided to do the replacement as the pain the stiffness is incredible. I am so scared, Hope that mentally will not lose my mind . I reached the point that I cannot walk .. it is so bad
I had my left hip done 5 weeks ago. Pain post op after the spinal wore off was equal to pain before op yet I was given less pain relief than I was taking pre op. Here’s a tip! If they ask you to rate pain from 0-10…..pick 10. Motion is the lotion and pain relief for 10 helps you move. Don’t be a hero like I was.
Have to say my keyhole RCR/severe tendon repair hadn't been anywhere near as uncomfortable as l thought it'd be. Had minimal pain and healing very well. 3wks into my 6wks of sling support. Doing the exercises my consultant advised (can here my dear old mum now:"Use it or Lose it!"). Worse aspect: its my left shoulder and im left-handed = frustrating!!! Ask me how l'm feeling at Christmas!!😉
Don't listen to this guy he's never had hip or knee replacement. I am an excellent health 55 years old 6 weeks post total right knee replacement. I'm still on a cane and I've played college basketball and I've been lifting weights 5 days a week for the last 40 years. There's no way anybody after total hip or total knee is walking well with a perfect gait after 2 weeks without a walker or cane. Just a lie
I am three weeks post surgery from this and let me tell you it has been the most painful, horrible experience! Make sure you have someone to help you! Prepare meals and clothing!
Just so you know I was catfished with your photo. You are so attractive and a very special lDoctor. I wished it were true but alas you are someone else’s Prince! Best to you and your family.
Had mine done 2 days ago, I was walking on my own yesterday without sticks, this morning I’m in agony, decided to be a hero and get off the meds early😮, stay ahead of the pain with the meds is my advice 🙋🏼♂️
@@wilalhart351 I’m 7 weeks post op, front tendons are a little tight, I’m back at work , manual work and it’s really good, not perfect , but good. Started cycling again this week. I can walk for hours, aches a little but I guess it takes more time
If you are looking for an outstanding, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable surgeon you have landed in the ideal place. I am so appreciative of his genuine concern and care. 👌💯
Congratulations! Bonjour🌹 Mrs. Farida Bounoua life is amazing for me, after my procedure I am truly pleased with making the choice to completely keep all weight off since 2010. One must always decide how much to ingest and no more. Psychologically be prepared!! You're the Best!!!! Excellent surgeon a definte 5☆☆☆☆☆ + from me Thankyou for everything 🏆
Honestly, I just had my hip replaced six weeks ago and I agree with you. Coming off anesthesia and taking the drugs made me feel great. The feeling was so good that I made sure I got off them as soon as I was able. I would advise anyone else the same. FYI I had anterior.
I'm in my 70s, was super active (skiing, horseback riding, mountain biking, hiking, skating). The only one I can do now with any form of comfort is bicycling on bike paths. Thinking about hip replacement, but worried all I'll have left afterward is walking, due to fall risks in the other sports. I hope that's not so, but I miss being able to go for long walks, hike trails, explore new places, etc. I don't have that much pain in my arthritic hip, but the stiffness has become debilitating. Just going to the supermarket feels like a workout these days. Even though I'm in my 70s, 3/4 of my body feels like it's still 35. It's just that *# %^&* leg, which is like a ball and chain, that's holding me back.
I had my right hip done in 2014 and I was 56 years old now in 2024. I got to have my left hip done and it’s well worth it. It’s a miracle what these doctors can do.
What happens after torned piece of anterior hip labral taken out via arthroscopy. In future, does the normal movements of hip and femur then give rise to any kind of arthritis, because we don't have labral cution over there anterior part of the hip joint?
Dr. JOSEPH NAIM preformed my sleeve surgery, and he did a great job. I am super happy with my whole look, the staff is friendly, helpful & professional, i was taken good care of. 🌟 🌟🌟
