I don't know if you boys remember me... But we all used to sing at the saddle and spur, in Vegas; 30 something years ago.... Art Johnson introduced us . And I was there every Sunday..... And was too shy to look at the audience. So I'd turn around and LET IT RIP
I very much still live in the ‘80s & ‘90s. Watching shows from back then when I saw James Organ & Bobby Duck on An Evening at the Improve. Loved his act so much, so searched for him on the net to learn the horrible news of someone so talented to have already passed away at such a young age. :(

I do remember them playing at the OLD DILLON INN in Frisco CO. in the very early 80's they did a lot of Marshall Tucker Band at that time, I will never forget those days
Gong Show got us our first union voucher and after 30 years performing it took to get into Sag-Aftra. You had to get on TV or movies as a paid act 3 times to become eligible. Sandy Hackett, Buddy's son, got us on. He ran the Sahara Monday night showcase.
I could not tell what it was exactly so I looked in the comments. Hamsters in the desert eh? From Syria ? Too funny. Well, the birds of prey will like that. Maybe a rattler or two also.
With a little more research we think a Boto Gopher...? Plus we get these neat looking birds we think are Pinion Jays. We have shot a few rattlers over the years. Do not like seeing them and keep the eyes moving when out walking.
Gonged, a classic lost of talentless show. You definitely wouldn’t make it in the 50th State of comedy. Maybe if you used a different type of bird. Like maybe a Giant Chicken, it is more likely more relatable to the common folk.

Did stand-up in the 80's and 90's in Northeast Ohio. He was the most gifted comic I ever met. If he would of to New York or Los Angeles - he would of been a household name.
I call Mike every Oct20, his birthday. I learned so much from him. As a Realtor I sold his house. His brotherhood special getting to travel and work with him. He never drove or flew. Really a special soul. Thanks for commenting.

Well they made it to the Cal-Nevada border! DACA for Hamsters! They are from Syria the lil terrorist! Lol hawks love them...
I think I saw JTO on TV in the 1980s. The duck clinches it for me! There are not many ventriloquist/stand up guys who use duck puppets in their act. Seems familiar. I might have seen him on Evening at the Improv or some other syndicated series like that. They had a lot of standup shows on TV for years in the late 1980s and early 1990s. This sort of series is pretty much dead from what I gather. You see big names get stand up specials on streaming services but cable? Pffffttt! DEAD! Stand up/comedy stores? Just not as big as they used to be from what I gather. The VH1 Stand Up Spotlight is where I first saw Ellen Degeneres and Rosie O'Donnell LONG before they had their talk shows. I also caught Jeff Dunham on one of the Improv episodes and probably 1 or 2 Tonight Show (with Johnny Carson) episodes. I didn't know until I looked on a Las Vegas blog and found JTO died from lung cancer in 1989, age 45! You don't even have to be a heavy smoker to develop lung cancer. It can be any number of besides including exposure to a virus, radon, asbestos, secondhand smoke, exposure to any kind of heavy pollution that gets into your lungs. My fifth grade teacher died not many years ago from lung cancer. I know she wasn't a smoker, either.
