This was very helpful. I still can't find the homeowner guide or figure out control. I'm in South Carolina and have them throughout my entire woodland!

Sorry to hear about your infestation - they are a huge challenge! Here is a link to the homeowner's guide: ecommons.cornell.edu/handle/1813/103692. Minnesota also has many resources on jumping worms: www.dnr.state.mn.us/invasives/terrestrialanimals/jumping-worm/index.html

Do you happen to have the source/citation for how many turions a plant can produce in a season? We're working with this plant here in Cobbosseecontee lake, Maine.

Hi Alex - we focus on the database aspect, rather than the field work, so unfortunately we do not have this sort of information. Best of luck with your work!

Can I upload your data collection later to my own map? Can I upload my own study area and other data layers into your map? Can I download the data I have collected for analysis on ArcMap? What is the advantage of using your basemap?

Hi Joshua, thanks for your questions! There are a few options for viewing your iMMA data on your own map. The best way is to link directly to the iMMA layer on AGOL (ArcGIS online) from your desktop ArcGIS software (ArcGIS Pro works best, but ArcMap should work as well). If that is not sufficient, we can provide you with an export of your data. Once your records have been cross-walked to the iMapInvasives database, you can also export your data using the export/report tool. For most people, the basemap creator functionality within Collector will be more useful than the NYNHP PRISM Basemaps. The NYNHP PRISM-wide Basemaps are mainly useful for partners who work across large geographic areas at many sites, and especially for partners who visit multiple sites in a day and don’t necessarily know which sites they will visit until the day-of . You will not be able to upload additional layers to NYNHP’s basemap. You can also create your own basemap and download it onto your device for use within Collector, in which case you can choose which layers you need. If you have any questions, please contact us at imapinvasives@dec.ny.gov. Sincerely, NY Invasive Species Database Team

Great training! I have watched it all the way through, but it's helpful to refer back to it. For my future reference and others, here are the times in the video when certain topics are addressed: 0:00 - Welcome and Introduction 3:00 - iMap 3 5:25 - Definitions for types of data, users, and projects vs. organizations 22:50 - Documenting treatments 41:02 - Filtering data 50:30 - Exporting data 58:32 - Managing projects 1:07:00 - Bulk uploads 1:10:48 - Certified trainers network 1:14:02 - Open to questions
