EXCELLENT!! This was really helpful! I have a 94 Chrysler Town & Country that I couldn't find anything on about the wiper linkage. The 94 Dakota and Town & Country are exactly the same. One potential problem to be aware of is with the bushings. The video content was wonderful. The first set of bushings that I got were not the right ones. The guy at the parts counter got me the "right ones". Here the second set were too big also I was able to trim them down and make them fit. Thanks again. I don't usually subscribe to You Tube channels but I did to this one.
@@ThatCarVlogChannel I'm going to buy one in a couple of weeks they got aftermarket GOODIES,lights and chrome trims but no grills -the 300 grills look like they fit but I not going to try it or rig it...
@javy-81 I hope it works out for ya. Ours was amazing while we had it. I didn't bother to find out what the grill came off of. I always thought it looked pretty good tho
I have had my 89 sedan deville for over 20 year's. Never have had any issues. Lately people comment on it while getting gas. I guess now people see just how rare they are getting.
Update: the best way to service an injector, which will save you a ton of money and YOU DONT HAVE TO REPLACE THEM, JUST CLEAN IT! 👍👍👍 There are videos online to address this
@bigbluezo6 that's a good point. But most people have the muscle memory to look up at the rearview. The rearview mirror cam still should have been an obvious choice especially with the price of this truck
8:39 (shows clock) "i forget what that is"😂 no hate just funny seeing a brain fart for the simplest thing, jus got me 2001 wit the 5.9 great video explaining everything in details
Thank you for this video! I just purchased the ZR2 and had a quick overview before driving off the lot. There's a lot of tech on this model and it was a lot to take in. Watching your video was a great refresher of all the features.
I’m a huge fan of older GM luxury barges & have a 71 Olds 98 & a 77 Cadillac Coupe DeVille. But there’s just something about these 89 thru 93 Cadillacs that really appeal to me - particularly the coupe WITHOUT the vinyl. They showcased all the classic Cadillac styling cues & luxury appointments in a much more manageable size & yet somehow seemed “retro” even when new.
Seems odd that on the Canadian Lincoln "Build" site, only the Reserve model is available (no Premier or Black Label). That Redwood theme is awesome but I guess not an option for us Canucks.
I don't know who designed these damn trucks. My first car was a 1974 AMC Javelin, blower motor access from on the firewall in the engine compartment, one plug and 3 screws. I literally changed it in 5 minutes.
One thing I dont like about this car is the damn battery keeps dying out, the 10min shut off button burns the battery as well if you leave open the Sunroof, battery problems, one of a few things wrong with this car! I totally need a CHEVY!!!
I have spent the last 5 years working on my '94 Dakota. I single handedly kept Rock Auto in business. But the thing rides like a Cadillac and I love it. Next up is a total front end rebuild.
Hey, my grandfather gave my 17 year old son a 1993 Dakota in excellent shape with 100k miles but after we drove it back from Texas the ac stopped working. Fuses are good but your video may help. Is there a way you could contact me for a couple other issues with this amazing old truck? Mine is red too. Please help. I just don’t have the $ to have someone screw me over and not fix it.
I will admit that the truck looks cool. But that shity 4 cylinder turbo charged engine is crap, it won't last long before it needs serious repairs or replacement. That big ass tire in the bed hampers you from putting on a bed cover or cap. Lastly at that price you won't see this running through trails or rock climbing. It's just a cool looking road princess.
So I'll have so much fun when mine goes. On my third different resistor network btw. Everything else on the truck I've not had any problems for dyi . . . yet.
