It would seem that if these forceful tools were so necessary a better idea with less trauma to an infant would be to have a cesarean section. However, my grandson still bears a scar on his neck about an inch long from the doctor cutting the womb open during my daughter’s cesarean section and cutting his neck.
Is it okay to dress newborn in onesies during this time? I fear that onesies will create too much friction against the stump and not allow it to dry quickly.

Sorry girl we were never monkeys!!!! Why didn’t the other monkeys or other animals evolve then? Maybe we all evolved from giraffes? I don’t think so. We were created by God!
Instead of teaching people how to care for a circumcision wound, why don't you educate them on the functions of the foreskin? If parents were fully informed on the value of the foreskin and the irreversible damage caused by circumcision, then they would leave their children intact and they'd never have to worry about caring for a wounded penis.
Sleep when the baby sleeps goes out the window when you have a second child. Anyone that said this to me, I felt like slapping them two times. Also while nice, I don't know many working men that's around in the day to do the 'checklist' (or working mums). I try to do stuff whilst baby is awake, strap him to me etc. But when he sleeps, child #one still needs me.
