A celebration of the automobile: Big or small, old or new, expensive or cheap, foreign or domestic - and the people who love them, loathe them, and keep them on the road!
Did you say light car?!? Lol it weighs more than the 90 corvette by several hundred pounds and was never intended to be sports car. It was meant to bridge the gap between young and old and be the halo model of buick.
Agreed! But because it wasn’t a performance car, young folks weren’t interested and because it wasn’t big and grand, old folks weren’t either. Such a shame…but I still love them! Thank you and cheers!
@@thecarglutton8672 Obviously we disagree. It's yours to do with as you wish, of course. However as it appears for most people it seems to be the fashion to cheer on the practive of defacing classic cars like this I figure I'll be the dissenting voice. You are not a better designer than Bruno Sacco and anything you do to it will lessen it in the eyes of the discerning.
That’s amazing! These are really beautiful cars. I agree - I like to admire mine as well 😂. I can’t wait to share it again when I have everything done. Thank you for watching and commenting!

I bet it looks great! I put the new wheels on - just need to do an update video when I have a few more things done. I am definitely enjoying this thing! Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers!
Have one myself, the 320, they are beautiful machines. Always loved the blue ones. Such a sick color. Take care of it and it will take care of you. I’m up to 240,000 miles on mine, still runs better than 1/2 the crap on the road. Maintenance maintenance maintenance Good luck Brother!!
Thank you! So excited to have 208 CLK finally! Other than another 300 CE to replace my totaled one, this car has been on my list the longest. Thank you for watching and commenting - Cheers!
Congratulations on a beautiful car, the color combination is rare and only 95 were made Maui Blue with the Slate interior in 1990. The kick is that only 26 were made in 1990 in that color combination with factor sun roof. Why do I know that… I have one of the other 25 ever made. It is an awesome car, I bought mine one year old and garaged it for 25 years. Mine just turned over to 60,000 miles and I take it to shows only these days. I hope you decided to keep it as I can’t imagine ever selling it.
Premium unleaded is what Mercedes always recommends. I live in CA, so 91 octane is usually the best I can get. But other states you can get 93 or more even. Thanks for watching and commenting! Cheers!
White and mint green would be great with fender skirts red rims with big white walls would look great thank you for posting ❤❤ oh baby moons and beauty rings ?
I’ve always liked the Maui blue. I’ve got an ‘88 I literally did a video of within 10 days of yours. Yours is in that sweet spot of nice but not too nice where you don’t want to drive it. Amazing how many of them out there are just beat to crap.
That’s an awesome point about the sweet spot between nice and too nice… in most cases I don’t have the $$$ to deal in the museum quality, barely driven, jackpot deals. But the upside to that is I’ve been less guilty about driving and enjoying the cars. I truly think that’s the only kind of collector I’d ever like to be. Thanks for watching and for the comment. I’m stoked to check out your video as well! Cheers!
Apache 10👍 The Apache truck was made from 1958 to 1961.The double headlight years. 1960-1961 and 1962 Had a X Box frame that was made with torsion bar suspension Hydraulic clutch. Gave it a car like ride for the first time ever on a truck. However the patent owned by some other company. 1963 they made the famous ladder frame and front sping A arm front suspension. They are rare and unique in their own way. Cool truck 👍
Well I had aftermarket wheels for it alright, but it was another driver not paying attention that killed my poor 300 stone dead! 😭😱😅 Lots of people agree with you though and they like them more stock/traditional. Thank you for watching and for your comment. Cheers!
Imagine if Studebaker had asked for a "Bailout" from the Gov't...Like GM and CHRYSLER and FORD, and the Banks, what wonderful designs and engine they could have made? What would they be like TODAY?
You’re absolutely right! The Reatta and even the Riviera had a lot of really cool tech that was way ahead of the time. I mean, touch screen controls in the 80’s?!?! That’s nuts! Thank you for watching and commenting!
Enjoy!👍 I picked up a 95 STS with 111,000 miles for $1300 in July of 2021. Not what I was looking for, but the used car market was going apeshit, price wise. I've grown to really like the car. Gas is painful around town with about 12-14mpg. (My right foot does Not help!😁) Average between 21 and 22+ on the freeway. Currently have about 120,000 miles and pray that it doesn't have the head bolt issue! 🙏 It's Black on Black with Black interior. Need to repair the top surfaces clear coat eventually. Like most higher mileage Northstar engines, it does burn a bit of oil between oil changes, but Not like a BMW M3! No visible smoke! 👍 When you open it up, and get the variable cam timing kicking in, it makes a Wonderful sound from the engine singing! 🥰 Good luck on your journey! Mike in San Diego. 🌞🎸🚀🖖
Nice! I like the Blue paint! I have a 95 STS, in Black with Black interior. Just turned over 120,000 miles. Great cars!👍 Enjoy! I'll like it even more when the gas prices come back down to reality!😁
Old enough to remember this commercial. Great advertising from American Motors. Too bad their management and the quality of their products didn't measure up.
@@seaboltandsonsautomotivead2510 Yeah, I've had a bunch of GM cars as an adult. I guess there will always be friendly competition and I like it that way, but in the end, I have love for all the American Big 3.
@@thecarglutton8672 The project was floating around in the early 90s but as the two coreys became less popular it got put on the back burner. Then Haim wrote his own script and pitched it to Feldman not long before he died. Now it can never happen, such ashame.
