Ottima video! 👌
I know a man who meets the criteria of an ubermensch, however unlike Nietzsche’s philosophizing, this man did the work and made the sacrifices. However society is so drowned in philosophies and theories that everyone is blinded to this truth.
Vietnam has the thinnest people in the world. Not Japan. Japan younger people are getting fatter. Mainly due to American fast food and oily food that young people like to eat. Vietnam has gotten rid of a lot of fast food and stick to traditional Vietnamese foods.
While these are all true, the combination of fat and carbs, especially processed seed oils and sugar results in over consumption. Traditional foods in Japan have neither, or at least not in excess. Add to that, sticky Japanese rice and vegetables are relatively filling. The result is less volume of food eaten. You also have a society which is so condensed that you can live as an adult without ever owning a car. This means there is a lot more walking integrated into normal life. That being said, in Japan, society is becoming more westernized- with large corporate chains whose focus is taste and consumption over an individual’s health. TV is always talking about food, and the latest sweet food is presented in the morning TV shows along with regular news and entertainment topics. 90% of the food at the ubiquitous convenience stores are processed junk food, ice cream, and sugar infused beverages. Beer and sweets are promoted in TV commercials by young, attractive, and famous people. I think that being thin is generally an indication of better health. However, it is not everything. I believe there is a hidden problem of depression, and other diseases - with cancer rates increasing significantly since the introduction of processed seed oils. Those who actually still practice a traditional Japanese diet are probably ok - but as food becomes more corporate controlled it will impact the Japanese culture just as it has for western culture- but perhaps in not such an obvious way - due to integrated walking in society and the filling sticky rice as a staple food. In other words I predict they will not become as obese due to overconsumption- instead it will manifest “from the inside” due to simply poorer food quality. So the best thing is to eat like the Japanese used to eat traditionally, focus on food quality, and above all move more.
no nel 1984 si mangiava peggio di oggi. c'era meno controllo sugli alimenti confezionati, nessuna etichetta con i valori nutrizionali, moltissimo zucchero. a casa pasta pane carne esattamente come adesso.
I've been to Japan many times. I remember seeing a Japanese Salarayman with a pot gut - something I see many times every day here in Detroit - and it struck me as so odd. Had never seen that before in Japan.
Probably all of those 24/7 shops serving food. And they got to eat because they are overworked. And western style foods slowly spreading across Japan I am sure.

Vero.
Totally unexpected, I just realized that Mario updated his favorite way to tackle ED and it's crazy! Although what he previously talked about was pretty decent, it was difficult to follow, I just go'ogled the latest by Mario Volpstein, it's so much simpler and potent now!
LOL, until recently I hadn't realized that Mario updated his favorite way to tackle ED and it's a relief! Although what he previously suggested was pretty good, it was a real pain to follow... I just go'ogled the latest by Mario Volpstein, it's so much simpler and potent now!
