Lake mills heh? That's close to me. Hoping to come back up there end of September. How's the muskie fishing at the two dams on the river you did your opener once it gets cooler? Planning on bringing some meat. Wish I knew some shore spots on this river, it looks killer.
@LunkersWithLehr Oh wow. I thought you were a local to the areas you're fishing. I know where this video was made, it's one of the rivers I'd like to fish but don't know enough about to drive up and fish from shore. Maybe next year I'll buy that Jon boat and be in business
@@Mike-lt6sj I've only shore fished for walleye right below the dam. Idk where else to go other than at the dam or at the boat launch. I don't really know of many great shore spots in Southern wi.
@MidwestBoatBros Every single time! I think they had grand plans on tracking growth rates then realized it's expensive and they don't tag them anymore. Coolest example is that I got a 5 year old fish that was 33 inches and I had another 5 year old fish that was 44.5 inches. Different bodies of water though.
Was awesome meeting you guys at crow lake last week! Ended up having to leave crow cause the fishing was so rough but was still cool to meet you guys before we left
@@LunkersWithLehr We landed one for 5 and half days on LOTW, but blew a prop hub so maybe we could have done better. Hopefully better fishing next year. Maybe I will go to Wisconsin to catch some fish lol

Do you feel getting the tail pinched enough to get to 35" was worth the extra 10-15 seconds out of the water and flopping around on bottom of the boat? I think 34.75 would satisfy me just as much.
@andrewramberg3516 for this season yes! That's an extra point in the lunge log, I didn't want to lie in the log. Sometimes they flop and sometimes there is a camera filming it 😅
@@LunkersWithLehr so you care more about a useless point in the lunge log? Got it. You also have several other videos with poor handling, often times due to your stupidity or for your precious lunge log points. You should embrace the responsibility you have creating content of using good practices. Long nose pliers may help for your safety as well.
@lilguylures I will say that he brings up a valid point. Muskies Inc should probably count to the quarter inch. I would give up .25 points, but if I think I can stretch to the next inch to get a full point, I'm gonna stretch that fish.
@kianhrenak I just bought my first piscifun 300 sized reel. They are really cheap. After a week it seems ok. I really like both of my tranx but they are high end. I think diawas are junk.
@LunkersWithLehr I'm looking at that creek mouth not far from the dam. Hoping it washes out a hole when it floods and I find some fish hanging around there. I can see in satellite it looks like an ok spot.
Ever try a manta? If not, get a regular 8” in sucker. You’re welcome lol. Seriously, best glide in current. Make sure you have hook cutters, they eat em with anger. Long glides, tough to adjust from flat gliders. The longer, the better. Slow and steady. You may have to reel several rotations between pops on the bait.
They are right. Hellhounds are great baits. The manta is just in its own league. In heavy current you can get it to glide 3-6+ feet on a single pull. Definitely a little tricky to get the feel of but for current there isn’t one like it. Definitely best in cold months but it will get bit year round. Just a suggestion but I always have one lol
And as usual, Lehr knocks it out of the park! I can t believe those fish can even see anything in that turbulent dirty water, let alone even be in that stuff! BTW congrats on the 1K!!

That is what everyone says. My thought is that the mesh on the net is probably worse for the fish than the plastic bump. If it's really hot, I'll dip it.
Sometimes it works out like that! Not all of them so far this season have been this easy. Wait for the video of me supergluing the tip of my finger back on next week.
