Hope you can partner with us national parks and create kits to go with kids park booklets and youth urban sketching in cities as your book recommendations. Love that you have daniel smith paints now. I would purchase as an adult national park palettes with themed landscape colors for each unique us park.
The Triad Palette + Triad Template collaboration was a limited-edition offering and we sold out earlier this summer. Lisa Spangler did share Daniel Smith watercolor equivalents so you can build a similar one at home (see Triad Template Tips on our channel for inspiration). Starting this Thursday, the Triad Template will be available on our website and in our shop!
@@lindahigham5317 You're welcome! The posts about that collaboration live on the Art Toolkit Blog, and I'm confident you can re-create something with your own paints!
I have bought some of your paints and I have the small Pocket Art Toolkit in the Deep Red Colour from awhile ago and I did but some of the Demi Palettes too love them @@arttoolkit
Hi! The Triad Templates will be available this Thursday! We are in the process of getting our website updated and these special resources posted for your reference. Looking forward to it!
Thank you! This is wonderful. I'm curious which journal your using. The journals on your website look much smaller. I can't wait to share these for some holiday gifts this year. ❤
This was such a helpful video to understand more about colour triads. Jane is a treasure, she has so much experience and knowledge of the way colour works, through her explorations and experiments. Thank you.
So the difference between the R3 and R19 is basically esthetic? Can you really get as fine a line with the R19? I was set on the R3, but if there’s not a significant functional difference then I should probably go with the R19 for the price difference 🤔 Rosemary and Co travel brushes are top of my Christmas wishlist haha, but I keep a pretty minimal art collection so want to be sure to make the best choice possible! Thank you! ❤ @arttoolkit
Hi there! Most product names for the travel brushes on their website include the size name, or you can click on each brush and learn more. Please see this link: www.rosemaryandco.com/watercolour-brushes?cat=67
Omg i lovvvve you two! Btw Symi, 40th anniversary Rose Gold cases and I will rebuild every single travel brush... Ooh and even cooler idea - rose gold cases and a "full set" case of travel brushes! Take all my money! ❤
Loved the replay! Did Alexis say if she was stocking some of the colors at the store? The colors look so vibrant. Thanks for sharing, Maria and Alexis.
They do have some stock left over, and filled some standard pans available for purchase on their site! check it out! caseformaking.com/products/standard-rectangle
i got two of these from you for my boy who love to paint and always complain the paint isnt bright or colorful enpugh for them. your paint and palette is perfect! cant wait to see what they create with them!! ❤r
This video pushed me into pressing the check-out button. I'm so excited! Joining nearby, from Burien (SW from downtown Seattle). Longtime fan of both Art Toolkit and cfm. xoxoxo
I enjoyed watching this. I just went on a trip and purchased your book to read on the way. I’ve already started a nature journal and have made sketches in the 3 states I was in. I love the idea of generously giving other sketchers a little something to encourage them in their work.
Hi! Our double pans carry an equivalent amount of paint to a plastic half-pan, so they last quite a while! Several trips and sometimes much longer! It depends how much I'm painting and what my subject is. And then it might just be my most-used colors that need a little topping off. For example, after a two-week trip to Texas doing a lot of desert painting, I had to top off my Buff Titanium and Yellow Ochre.
We have found that a need for deep cleaning really depends on how much water you use! If you tend to add a lot of water to your paint and mixing pans, that will increase the chances of water sneaking through and settling on the magnet below. We recommend taking a peek under your pans after a painting session to asses that. A good clean every couple of months might be a good place to start, and adjust according to your frequency of use / water overflow. Hope that helps!
Ohh thank you so much for this video! I had no idea about the oil and it has started to rip the magnet 😢. Will try the cleaning, but will definitely do it for the next palette!
I have had good results removing phtalo blue with magic eraser and a little of 'The Master's' brush cleaning soap. Ordinary soap does not work as well. I have no idea what 'Master's' secret is, but it works well. Also on plastic palettes.
