I come from a military family and feel blessed to live in USA. So, my patriotic stays out most of the year. 🇺🇸 Loved your video!! Thanks for sharing all your fabulous finishes!!
I am in Central California the fireworks have been awful. All illegal and my dog is so anxious. I give her medication but I hold her with the tv loud and soft dog music on my phone. I hate fireworks because it makes me anxious too. I didn’t get to sleep until 4 am. I am with you.
I crave Aida cloth. I feel lucky when I find it at the bins or Goodwill. I don’t care what size. I use it all. Summer is not my favorite season. Fall and winter are my favs. I have been entering contests for years and have never won anything. So if I do win, you can bet I’ll contact you 😁😁😁
If your „cleaning“ question is still open: I have done away with babywipes completely (though I do see the convenience factor) as they are SO bad for the environment (they practically do not disintegrate EVER!). I use a stamp shammy and water for my stamps. Plus I have rags (old sheets, t-shirts etc cut up) and a spray bottle of water and rubbing alcohol each for everything else (the alcohol works amazing on stencils any my glass mat). For a deep clean I have a scrubby tool and stamp cleaner for stamps and I use the sink and running water for stencils and sticky mats.
This summer has been a hot one here in my area. I am an Aida stitcher only at my age now. Thank you for sharing all the things about stitching, SALs and techniques I have learned so much.
Your patriotic pieces are so pretty. I have a few up and I will be leaving them out all summer long. Hope you and your family have a wonderful time this summer. God bless you.
Fireworks - just nuts! Like you say, literally burning up money. Then all the poor animals (not just domestic, wild ones, too). The fire hazard. Danger to (foolish) users. Plus, they tell us here in Germany (where people go similarly nuts for New Years‘ Eve), apparently, in that one night of the year you produce about three quarters of the ANNUAL amount of particulate matter (which is BAD for all of us) is produced… Let‘s just NOT!
Being a US postage stamp collector, I have had to extend my "collection" to all of these Waffle Flower postage stamps. Yay for more Christmas stencils. Already ordered the bundle!
Oh my you just amaze me with all the wonderful things you do!!! And sharing so much with us all! You have been a true inspiration! Hope you are enjoying your SUMMER! ❤️
Thanks for showing all your new and older patriotic summer stitching. I’m always looking for new ideas for finishing and yours are always so beautiful and inspiring. Thanks so much for all of the work you do for your flosstubes. I so enjoy and appreciate it.
Love all your pieces, especially the drum! Looking forward to the tutorial! Oh I always loved apples, had apple curtains, everything, and an apple candle that always made me want to eat an apple. That is also when I got my Kitchen Aid mixer and of course red! I plan to keep patriotic out all summer. Only stitch on Aida, linen is to hard to see with these old eyes.
Seeing Halloween' and Christmas in July vs all Christmas is refreshing and fun. I probably wouldn't make either if the community was flooded with one or the other but seeing the mix is inspiring. Thank you for mixing it up. Very fun and cute card too!
All of your finishes are gorgeous! Summer has finally started for us here in the PNW...we are having an actual heat wave...in the 90's for us for about five days. Thank goodness for A/C!
I loved watching your bloopers reel! I hope my summer is half as productive as yours has been. Thank you for being so "real" and telling your struggle bus stories. We all have them. I'm finishing Primrose Cottage Old Glory bonus chart. A day late for the 4th, but it can stay out the rest of July.
I'm with you when it comes to fireworks in the neighborhood. However for the first time ever this year our dogs even our senior pup (who usually tries to climb into my front loading washer and dryer during this time of year) were completely relaxed. About an hour before all the fireworks started I gave all my pups some new CBD chews I got from PetSmart that my vet suggested. Worked great! First time we had a stress free 4th. Lol Love the video as always btw! 💜 Thanks so much for sharing 😊
