Can I just say, I don't like how they replaced it with the same displays like the DART trains, They could have a bigger display like the ones in the ICRs or the newer kinds of the same displays as before for the Front exterior, Same sized displays as the red ones on the sides and the Longitude PA Display in the interior. My personal opinion. Also, What's with the white numbers on some trains? I've seen them multiple times and I never really knew what it's for.
Some sets end up with white numbers after they get repainted for example, and yes I think they could have made the new displays for the 29Ks bigger like their old, outdated ones.
Great footage! The new displays I think are a bit small but are otherwise significantly better than the previous ones. I look forward to seeing these displays on 29000s running down to Wexford/Rosslare
Hi, bit of a long shot this one but lived in Gormanston for 17 years, and am working on a song where i´d like to include an audio announcement of station stops from Gormanston to Connolly. Dont suppose youd happen to have any audio ?
The lines that they currently use for freight trains around Dublin Port should be used for passenger trains as close as possible to the Irish Ferries and Stena Terminals and for Cruise ships - given that they opened the Phoenix Park Tunnel to passenger trains this is doable
