Great point, emphasizing eliminating students' (or your own) personal information in chatbot prompts. I also appreciate your connections between generative AI and media literacy.
I understand motivating students, but using a scratch off and random rewards model seems a bit manipulative. Its like educational lootboxes. Not sure how I feel about gamification used in this way, though it does push good skills using systems we know work. But there is something about normalizing the "phone game" systems as regular and reasonable that might send more people towards those systems or see them as more agreeable in their own lives.

Awesome demo of a great tip!! I love this one, too. My other favorite embed in PearDeck is Flip (you can actually just paste the Flip URL in Pear Deck for it to embed) and also using Flip to record a video & then loading it up in Edpuzzle to assign.
To get to GOOGLE ADVANCED SEARCH without searching for it, open a a generic google page. For example place google in the address bar. Then you should see Settings at the bottom of the page. Clicking "Settings" shows an ADVANCED SEARCH choice.
Wow ! I would love to bring my grandkids to go on a tour with Libbie! Such an educated sweet gal! Hopefully I'll get to meet her at some pointwhat and she can educate my family as well as me! Thank you for the inspiration but I found ET by him telling this same story about another person? This does not drive me away from his content but others might stumble upon the same thing if you are listening to his content daily.
I would love to see the documents and forms that you use for your class! The calculation of XP is the aspect that worries me (time wise). Wish I knew how to use sheets better.
