GM-Classics.com Working Car Collection since 1985. Thank you for viewing my channel, this is an educational and historical purpose venue. Nothing you see is for sale, there is no merch, no like n subscribe, 100% benevolence. My purposes to share Classic Car history, originality documentation, performance tips on vintage cars, comprehensive maintenance and Repair techniques and the big one…. collector Car storage knowledge, a science in itself of storing a car for decades at a time… something I have been a part of since the mid 80s.
I have the 1984 Eldorado Biarritz Coupe. She is Banana Cream with the stainless steel roof with rear landau. Yellow leather interior. I am going with the Olds 307 swaption. I would love to see the 403 go into this car. I heard the transmissions wont handle the extra horse power well. How are you going to mitigate that?
Those are great. I love my Z71 Burb. It does everything i need including being an overland vehicle. The previous owner abused it. At least they replaced the transmission. I will replace everything else that is needed. Rolling towards 370k miles. New 5.3L coming soon.
Now let's see the cream of the crops Ford Mustang the cream of the crop Dodge the demon 170 And this thing on the track Even the Tesla plad I think this will come out on top with the right tires And I agree with the black rims Is over done
It would have been nice if they had made the top collapse fully in back like the Corvettes. The boot cover looks like a real pain . I was in a car dealership today and saw the same cheap and flimsy weatherstrip that is on your Challenger. The added support under the car is very impressive, it looks like it can stand up to the power it will receive. Beautiful car
It is an incredibly nice car, but there are more than a few red fully loaded 6 speed verts!! 92 and 93 have the same injectors, and same intake, it isn't a restriction, and neither is the 94-96 MAF intake, they flow far more air than even a heavily modded engine needs. My 93 is 1 of 2, but in my case there were just TWO, if you wanted to get real technical and add colours into it there was still just two, the other 3 were missing one option mine does have, even if you discount that there were a total of five, four of which were 6 speed cars.
My son’s 89 has the L98. Sometimes is runs well and other times it idles poorly to horribly and I feel like we’re chasing a ghost. I’m changing these injectors immediately along with the fuel regulator, even though we get 42 psi. I need to watch this video again and see if you mentioned the exact injectors to get for a 1989 Corvette with the L 98 engine engine. If you see Mike on it, perhaps you could reply to me. Thank you for this video. it was really great !
Oh great. The L98 is one of the most complicated engines to work on. 11:00 People who work on these beat their head against the wall. 16:30 Do you have a camera in my barn?
All of these horsepower figures are on 93 octane by the way. E85 tune? My car would make 516 to 526. This is with 97 to 100 E85. Since my car is a GEN3 Coyote it would not take much to tune it. Injectors are already set for E85. This car on e85? I would think another 50 added to the number maybe more. There would have be a dyno to be sure. Might get another 100 due to the blower.
The original Yenko had 450 hp 427. This one has 1500. Manufactures cannot lie about horsepower anymore. This I say to the doubters. Plus, all the owner has to do is put it on dyno. If it does not have 1500 or 1800, then a lawsuit can begin due false advertising. Seriously, spending this much money on a car, I doubt the 1500 or 1800 is a lie. I have a 2023 Mustang GT with six speed manual and Recaros. My car? Dyno is 392 at the rear wheels with no blower. There are videos here on YT with Mustangs fitted with ESS blowers making 786 at the rear wheels. The new GT500 Super Snake? I think it is 900. I found a Super Snake online at a dealer for 130, 947. I wish I had the money to buy it.
